I am more appalled at people's double standards in this forum. They don't have any issues with her FL using her body to attract a young man? Raghav looks uncomfortable everytime Sulochana so much looks at him but Pallavi was quite enjoying the attention by that boy. 🤔 Where's the outrage?

Yeah well somehow objectification of women seems to be accepted if it's to serve a bigger purpose but Swapnil is unpalatable (even if he's fully clothed to the point of covering his face). Also shirtless Raghav bothers some people.

I guess people have different expectations on standards when it comes to such things.

Regarding harassment, there was a slew of posts defending her saying she froze on the spot and couldn't react because that's how some people respond to such situations, while others choose fight or flight. I think that's a totally fair assessment of Pallavi's situation. The fact that she seems normal afterwards might even be understandable if it means showing that she is feeling more secure because of Raghav's presence. But the writers not addressing the perpetrator's actions or Pallavi expressing her feelings was a miss on their part. There are loads of women (and men) who must have been triggered by the pleat scene so having a proper closure to that would be important. I don't expect RaghVi will do anything to Mandaar beyond trying to punish him for hurting Ayi. He did a lot of bad things to both of them, physically and mentally harassing Pallavi and Raghav both. Those aren't things to be taken lightly.

Agree with you on people having different standards. Sulochana's harmless infatuation ( it was harmless at first but later turned into harassment which I strongly condemn) with Swapnil was apparently more than disgusting but Pallavi using her beauty to trap someone is not.🤷‍♀️

Pallavi wearing a backless dress is her modern fearless attitude but Raghav keeping few buttons open is showing off and self obsession. I have my reservations regarding out of context shirtless scenes of RR but Pallavi's dressing up and trapping the guy yesterday was also out of context and was in bad taste according to me and I am calling it out.

The writers of this show have some weird fantasy with harassment issue. They subject the characters to extreme physical and mental harassment and then make them just forget it and act all normal next day. On top of that the perpetrators are never punished. Punishment and guilt is only reserved for Raghav He gets beaten up every other day for some apparently 'insensitive ' pranks. Mind you other people hurting his feelings doesn't come under 'insensitive ' category.

On a serious note they really need to show Kirti's pain of losing her family at that young age too

They showed where Raghav's anger for the wrong doers his comapssion for the needy his I'm Raghav Rao comes from

Kirti what made that young innocent sweet teenager make the worst mistake of her life

There was no strong make presence in her life no role model

How lonely she must be that Sunny's few chilli chupdi baatein trapped her

They need to show their story

It's not arranged that a good girl trapped with the wrong boy she chose it why?

Right! And the abuse is made worse because it's not always visible to outsiders. I know that Sunny's in the bad books of Amma, Raghav, and Pallavi, but I wonder if they know to what extent he is abusive towards her. He doesn't even talk to her respectfully yet she seems to let him walk all over her. There is no dignity whatsoever in their relationship. Also, she conveniently forgot that he was willing to run away abroad and leave her behind in order to avoid getting arrested.

Yeah they need to show this. I was hoping she'd figure it out or her trauma would be addressed before she ended up marrying Sunny but unfortunately it's too late. She's going to marry him and it will be even harder for her to detach herself from him. I know Raghav told Farhad in the Hyderabad sequence that he'd let them marry but keep an eye, and that divorce is always an option. It's easier said and done though. Divorce is never simple, and for someone like Keerti who has been desperately trying to hold on to Sunny and wants to make it legal to cement the relationship, I don't think she'd want to get divorced and would end up being stuck in that cycle of abuse.

Steady your hearts, we're going to see some nasty stuff coming up, I think. If we do get such tracks, I want to see how it affects Amma and Raghav and that their family dynamics and past are better explored.
