Amisha Patel in a Sensuous Item Song
We've got some inside info on Kunal Kohli's Saif and Rani-starrer, Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic. It will feature Ameesha Patel in a sensuous item number, which will be the highlight of the film.
Says a well-placed source from the film unit, "The song is a sexy number, something similar to Sridevi's 'Kaate nahin katte yeh din yeh raat' from the film, Mr. India. It's an outdoor song and Ameesha has gone all out to give a sensational performance in it."
Was Ameesha the first choice for this item song? Our source says, "The filmmakers were in a fix when they had to cast an actress for this song, as the song plays a pivotal role in taking the film forward. After many discussions, screen tests and auditions, the director and his crew zeroed in on Ameesha. We had a very specific look in mind for this particular character."
Is it a top secret? "Well, it was meant to be the surprise element in the film," says our source.
When contacted Kunal Kohli, director and producer of the film, confirmed the news saying, "Yes, it's one of the most sensuous songs we've seen of late. Ameesha's performance has been a huge surprise in the song."
