Poor shivangi has always been stuck in mostly lousy saris. Everybody rich or poor dress up so loud it’s jarring on the eye. Only amma has sober saris.

She looks so good in todays episode with jeans and the top and the red robe. Also, Raghav imagines her in red sari, wouldnt she look hot in one of those red net saris with sleeveless blouse and just a diamond pendant and diamond earrings.....Haai...Raghav toh latoo hojayega....LOL

I don’t know why but ITV has an unwritten rule that married woman should wear sarees. Even if they wear salwar kameez both dresses are loud & in your face. Even if the protagonist is a college going girl (GHKPM) they make her wear garish suits & sarees. Even the men are not spared.

As for RR, who wears 3 piece suits nowadays? Even if they are super rich! At least the leads are good looking so I’m able to see past all this. Hopefully the story line becomes more logical.

Till now Raghav has only given her a ring and then the jewellery during photo shoot which even then she took something else to wear but didn’t see it on her and Raghav put on a different set. There was a few sets but she only wore one set. I get that he is a guy etc and wouldn’t know but in this case he should know as he designs jewellery and owns stores. I mean also he might not want to interfere in her choice and give her freedom but some of her jewellery especially earrings are just so out of place at some point. Like the ones she wore for the longest time while Aai was in hospital and the whole d house scene and finding out truth of Mandhar etc. And then when they meet during the toilet scene, those earrings were so out of place and heavy. Almost looked like her ear lobe would fall off.

I just feel like being a jeweller’s wife, she could atleast wear some classy pieces, small to medium size and she doesnt have any diamonds considering Raghav deals with diamonds a lot. Also other than the MS around her neck and a tiny chain and pendant we never see necklaces on her unless its an occasion. And same kangan literally every day which is fine for an average woman but she should have a few being that she is wife of RR.

Ok this was just my opinion. Please feel free to disagree or agree. I would like to hear your thoughts.

Also does anyone know what the other chain is that she wears with her MangalSutr? It’s always tucked in so i dont see what it is. Any significance of that chain?

raghav is such a kanjoos husband typical memon types.. 😂

Biwi ne jab loan manga tab bhi us ne..kuch aye bain shayen ki..

Aur gifts bhi sare 2 number .🤩

He is saving money..🤣

Yeah I always wonder why they have to wear saris. That is not what is out in the world so they should try and showcase more natural scenes and clothing styles as opposed to making it look so complicated. How do these women wear these saris all day and work around the house? Ok sorry if i offended anyone with that statement, that is just my opinion. Im sure a lot of women are able to do everything with a sari but in ITV their saris are not simple cotton easy to wear saris, they look very uncomfortable with the blouse with full backs open etc, and sometimes you can see Pallavi's blouse being lose and her sides at the back slightly open which im sure is uncomfortable. Anyway, even the suits are quite bright in colour too...

Amruta dresses nice but I was questioning her outfit when they went to the parlour. Did she have to wear such a short dress?

Also, why does Pallavi have to wear Sari's? Raghav gave her a dress saying that he always saw her in saris so for a change, which should give her a hint.

Also this Raghvi scene, I wish Raghav says something about her clothing.......as in she looks good and she should wear them more often etc..I want to see her in different styles. The clothes she wore for Mansi's wedding were quite good. she dressed really well. I want to see her in lenga's and anarkalis etc. Some nicer suits and maybe nicer saris.

I liked IPZN for this reason, how well the costuming was thought through. It was actually funny to see how the entire cast would sometimes dress in various shades of the same color for particular scenes. Whether the characters were poor or rich, the dressing was simple and sophisticated as required. Even the loud aunty didn't wear gaudy clothes 99% of the time. It wasn't a huge budget show but that's what I mean about taste and costuming. They were very soothing to the eyes.

Also, that show had one of the best bridalwear I've seen on ITV. most of the time brides in shows look terrible but here they had brides looking royal. I will miss the show for the aesthetics, especially.

YPNTKH also had top notch costuming for both women and men, again regardless of the chracter's social status.

See, Amruta wearing the same costume looked fine but Pallavi did look like she'd borrowed from someone. Perhaps that was the intent.

Doesn't matter. Hope they change it up a little. I liked it when they gave her yoga pants, so I'm sure they can think of other options.

Im actually glad that they made it look like it was borrowed, so it seems realistic enough but i would love to see Pallavi in those clothes and the high wedge heels. Looked good.

Just curious, that while talking to Mandhar on the terrace she needed a stool as per bts video, but I dont see that with Raghav, does that mean Raghav is shorter than Mandhar?

No, Raghav is taller than Mandaar, but Shivangi sometimes wears heels or they switch up the camera angle. In the initial episodes she used to wear higher heels (wedges) but for some reason she doesn't anymore.

Aap heels ki baat kar rahi ho, yahan dhang ke sarees nahin milte. 😆

I think its bc they rarely show bts of their feet when she's with SKR so we never see the stool/box she has to stand on. Also, SKR tends to widen his stance (so he fits in frame more) too + the wedges she's in, probably makes up for it. In hug scenes they're always going to use a box bc its harder to capture both facial expressions if one is so much shorter than the other.

In todays episodes, even as tall as Shivangi is, and her heels were at least 5", she still wasn't equal height to Raghav. So they have a much larger height difference than appears on camera for the show episodes (if you're curious, the clearest place to see their real height difference is SKR bday cake bts). I've made it a point to observe the heights of all these actors a lot... bc that's just what I do LOL 🤣.... I came to the conclusion that SKR is either same height as Ashok (Mandar) or 1-2 inch taller. SKR has taller hair too so it adds to his height.

I think they give her the big earrings bc they want her to look like a jeweler's wife. This is still ITV and its RARE that the FL's aren't decked out in things IRL we'd wear to a dinner party or celebration etc.

I watch PS and one of the girls' kameez sets are things I'd wear on Eid bc of all the sequins, net dupatta, etc. Homegirl wears this as her daily attire. I think it's rare that ITV shows show leads in simple clothing that actually match day to day style of the average person.

Regarding her sarees in general - Yeah I'm over the "silk"/handloom. It ages her too much. Her old solid silk/satin ones or georgette ones were nice. But now that she's a bahu, she can't dress that simply either. Of the ones she's been wearing now, her floral organzas and the solid georgettes with the single trim are the nicest. The hot pink net ones have to GO. I'm ok with pink in general though because it looks good on Shivangi. But she could pull off soo many colors, it's like, give her some more variety.

I get why she wears sarees though - her character loves sarees & the tradition and culture behind them. We won't ever see her in western clothing unless they're on vacation or something.

I actually don't mind Raghav's style. Three piece suits are a bit much but I see men in that all the time, daily, esp if they're into fashion. It's not too far of a stretch IMO. Once in a while they could show him without the vest though. And I don't like every suit combination, but overall he gets dressed well IMO.
