Why only Hindu superstars doing patriotic movies?

The wave of toxic nationalism has taken over the country, and one of the biggest victims of that is Muslims. Why would they embolden it by making such movies?

Aamir Khan did Mangal Pandey, Lagaan and Rang De Basanti.

I think Fanaa can be considered Patriotic as well - Kajol's character was a patriotic one...

IMO - war movies can't be counted as Patriotic alone - Phir bhi dil hai Hindustani was way ahead of its time and highlights an important issues today.. (and the title track is legendary.. every kid who grew up in the 90s world remember it!)

For me movies like Dangal, Swades and Chak De were patriotic films too.

SRK did Main Hoon Na as well - it had similar elements...

Its become too much all of a sudden.. Hollywood has been similarly accused of building narratives.

Now actors have to do patriotic movies to prove their deshbhakti ?

Eh.. we are talking about recent, current and upcoming movies, not about movies made hundred years ago. Only Hindu superstars are signing them.

War is a patriotic movie ?But Salman's Bharat ,Tiger series etc are not ?

Whatever all the movies u mentioned (except Shershaah) are poorly made .Patriotic or not doesn't matter .like someone said one swades is better than all the patriotic movies are being made in todays times . If anything the likes Akshay needs to stop making similar type of movies again n again
