Baby Naaz/ Boot Polish

I've just finished watching Boot Polish again after I first watched it several years ago.

It is such a moving film, with outstanding performances by the entire cast.

Baby Naaz got a special mention at Cannes Film Festival for her performance as a child artist in this film.

She was such a gifted, talented actress. She was also a top dubbing artist and dubbed for Sri Devi in Hindi films before the early 1990s.

Has anyone else here watched this beautiful film?

I saw the movie as a kid with my grandpa, Loved the songs, specially hum matwale polish wale and lapak jhapak

The lady at 1:30 hitting the kid is Chand Burke, Ranveer Singh's naani or daadi.

Yeah. That's why whenever I hear people call Ranveer an outsider, just have to laugh.

Tabassum did a video on David, too. He was amazing in this film and won a Filmfare for the role.

Even I watch and subscribe to Tabassum Talkiesvon YouTube. I love that she talks about everyone in the industry. She talks about her experience too.
