I have the same hopes as you.. the pre-marriage shivi scenes were truly the best! It would be beautiful if they go back to that mode with Raavi being the determined chipkali to Shiva, and he being her silent protector

It's just the perfect set up for Dhara to immediately go up to Shiva and try to "fix" the situation Now that he isn't sleeping in his room, there's more chances for other characters to go up to him to start a conversation. For the first time, I'm hoping Dev talks to him without interruptions, he was getting somewhere yesterday until Gaumbi came I wanna see how far Dev gets next time. Maybe the CVs will throw us a curveball by having Dev accomplish his first achievement in the show instead of Dhara

Because there seems to be more people here... Quick question, what name was determined for Raavi's doggy dog friend who likes her and was told to run away with her?? (I obviously remember the doggy dog part 🤣🤣🤣.. Can't be bothered to watch the episode hence why asking here 😊😊)

@bold1, I don't want Raavi to swing like a pendulum in terms of her personality. I want it to be more like a natural progression where you understand where her character is going. I actually don't mind if we gets bits and pieces of Chipkali Raavi (as I think that would make Shiva comfortable too since that's what he's used to seeing) as she begins to slowly understand what Shiva needs and why her words were wrong.

@bold2, I think you'll be here for a long time, then 😆 I don't see them confessing anytime soon. Not when they have such poor communication, and if we consider Raavi's growth and love, I think it would come after she realizes what's inside Shiva's rough exterior. She needs to fully remove his childhood taunts before she can fall for him.

@Bold Exactly. That’s what I would prefer as well. As long as it’s subtle and executed well, I would like to see that side of Raavi return. But I def don’t want random OTT scenes, especially not until her feelings are sorted and they have a proper conversation. I rather have no scenes than badly executed ones 😆

Honestly, you never know when it comes to ITV. A random NDE and both are professing their undying love for each other 😆 But like you, I would prefer the confession to come after they work through their issues and reach a healthier phase.

Judging by what rishita said in today's episode looks like she is going to do something unless they just made her say those lines just like that!

Gaumbi and his Insensitivity:

Gaumbi has always been that man who grew up faster to shoulder responsibilities. Unlike Shiva, who always willingly grew up, Gaumbi took Up the Duties out Of unfavourable situations.

We have always seen him prioritising respect and family more than love. If you watch a few initial episodes, you'd remember how he loved Anita but always kept his responsibilities ahead. Dhara was her sukoon when she entered his life and sheltered him from some of his blistering duties.

He isn't a passionate lover but an immensely romantic and loving husband. For him, marriage is above love; sacrifice is an honour, and compromise is a necessity.

If we go back to the wedding fiasco, we all blame Dhara, but if you see Gautam, he was insensitive. He asked Dev to compromise, and he will eventually fall in love.

So, I don't see anything out of his character when he scolded Shiva. He hasn't been melodramatic, and despite standing up for Dhara, he hasn't been an active husband to prevent Dhara from taunts etc. Suman throwing her blowups on Dhara is a testimony of that.

Gautam belongs to the thought cycle of the family being together.

He has been a paternal figure, but he hasn't been emotionally Close to His brothers As a friend or confidante.

None of them shares that intimate camaraderie. Their bond is very familiar, and that's why I always wanted to see Shiva with some of his friends.

Dev tries to come closer to Shiva, but Shiva has always had a love-hate relationship with him.

Beautifully summed up Piu!! I also want to add that Gautam somehow seems to hold Shiva at a higher bar compared to the other two. It's almost as though the expectation he has from Shiva is the same as what he would have had for himself at any point so the disappointment in Shiva's actions is because he sees it somehow as a failure within himself.

As you said he has never been an "active husband for Dhara..." and seeing Shiva act the way he has is bringing to light some of his past actions.

Don't know if that makes sense?

If he would have been nicer to her she won't have seen Dev.

Aise pretend karta jese he always wanted Raavi and she ignored him and went to someone else.

I have been saying exactly the same thing. What kind of stupid dialogue was it ? As if he forgot everything that happened between them since childhood.

And why does everyone expect gombi and dhara to understand his self victimization? Firstly it was their responsibility to stop him from misbehaving with raavi since childhood. Bache ko tumne toka nai , usko nai samjha sake is tarah bolna theek nai hai, they couldn't instill good manners in him, now he is crying I wasn't her first choice...... Firstly he himself is responsible then gaura who brushed off this wild anger as normal ..even if they deemed it wrong , they were helpless because his anger is uncontrollable. He will have to mellow down Nd he will see the change, what he wants to see , in raavi.

I wish rishita locks both of them in Pandya store , if the Pandya store still exists and is not hijacked by monkeys
