The childhood fixation aspect has a very subtle undertone. Trust me; after this chaos was over in the Gulaal show, the male lead realised that he grew up loving the female lead secretly, and he didn't know until he started evaluating.

I like how Shiva wants to be loved; Raavi wants to be respected!

Both are ziddi!

There are certain individuals who are known as Pyaar ka Bhukha- that category of people don't care about anything more in this world apart from being loved with fierce consumption.

I have been there done that! Compromise waigarah words used to make me mad too.

I think PS is conflicted because it pulls a variety of audience sentiments together.

They have a recipe for all age groups, and that's why there will be days where one or the other set of audience will agonised.

My typing is disjointed as I can't type much right now.

@Bold I mentioned something similar the other day. They have to cater to so many groups at once... it makes sense that there are conflicting thoughts on each episode. I can’t stand loud OTT drama and the thought of cheesy romance makes me want to run 😆 but I understand there are groups that enjoy this. I just wish the writers would about it with a bit more effort and focus more on the story they want to show 😆

Off topic, I may be in the minority, but I don’t want a Chipkali Raavi anytime soon. At least, not without understanding what Shiva wants from this relationship, why he acted the way he did and the gravity of the situation. They have a lot to work through and a level of maturity is needed. Any dismissive behavior will be very insulting to the other person’s feelings. But she can make a comeback later on. I’ll probably start looking for the exit once the post confession romance begins 😆

Gaumbi has always been that man who grew up faster to shoulder responsibilities. Unlike Shiva, who always willingly grew up, Gaumbi took Up the Duties out Of unfavourable situations.

We have always seen him prioritising respect and family more than love. If you watch a few initial episodes, you'd remember how he loved Anita but always kept his responsibilities ahead. Dhara was her sukoon when she entered his life and sheltered him from some of his blistering duties.

He isn't a passionate lover but an immensely romantic and loving husband. For him, marriage is above love; sacrifice is an honour, and compromise is a necessity.

If we go back to the wedding fiasco, we all blame Dhara, but if you see Gautam, he was insensitive. He asked Dev to compromise, and he will eventually fall in love.

So, I don't see anything out of his character when he scolded Shiva. He hasn't been melodramatic, and despite standing up for Dhara, he hasn't been an active husband to prevent Dhara from taunts etc. Suman throwing her blowups on Dhara is a testimony of that.

Gautam belongs to the thought cycle of the family being together.

He has been a paternal figure, but he hasn't been emotionally Close to His brothers As a friend or confidante.

None of them shares that intimate camaraderie. Their bond is very familiar, and that's why I always wanted to see Shiva with some of his friends.

Dev tries to come closer to Shiva, but Shiva has always had a love-hate relationship with him.

This makes so much sense ..coming to think of it.. ofcourse the whole wedding fiasco happened becz gombi asked to compromise. More than dhara, he is to be blamed for hiding this frm ravi. 😳..

I too dnt want any cheesy romance that soon..the main interesting point in a show according to me is everything until the final confession..after that I loose interest.. 🤪..let the drama on..make them suffer...until suffer can take no more.. 😆

Kanwar Yatra was July 24th, and a full moon was on July 23rd, and the moon they showed was pretty much a full moon... kudos for the consistency on the moon phases CVs... even if you got the bedroom placement wrong 🤣

This may have been a coincidence.. I have a feeling the CVs just got lucky here 🤣

@bold1, I don't want Raavi to swing like a pendulum in terms of her personality. I want it to be more like a natural progression where you understand where her character is going. I actually don't mind if we gets bits and pieces of Chipkali Raavi (as I think that would make Shiva comfortable too since that's what he's used to seeing) as she begins to slowly understand what Shiva needs and why her words were wrong.

@bold2, I think you'll be here for a long time, then 😆 I don't see them confessing anytime soon. Not when they have such poor communication, and if we consider Raavi's growth and love, I think it would come after she realizes what's inside Shiva's rough exterior. She needs to fully remove his childhood taunts before she can fall for him.

Yahaan there was so much build up with her friends taunting their relationship, her accusing him of having an inferiority complex, uss sabka hurt morphed into such anger that he lashed out in that way. But it was never malicious or accusatory. So I'm glad he explained it for the audience that's still stuck at the character bit.

As for Raavi's feelings, I do think there's something there subconsciously. They've also alluded to it slightly when she reflects immediately after the fight ki kyu mujhe Shiva ki baatein itni affect karti hai. Idk why but I think we may get some sort of Raavi's realisation at the end of this. We may even see realising that she actually likes him and then becoming chipkali to get Shiva back.

I know thodi zyada hopes ho gayi 😆 but I'll take anything except giving into emotional blackmail 😆

@bold: this would be such a fun track to watch!

I have been waiting for something like this ever since Shiva started staying away from her due to the diary kaand, but she went on a compromise jaap
