Since you are not getting the point. Let me make it clear to you. I personally don't care if someone names their kid Shaitan or Osama Bin Laden or Kim Jong Un.
But India is a Hindu majority country who were attacked, looted, forcefully converted and plundered again and again by Muslim rulers, just like Jews and others suffered because of Hilter or Americans because of Osama.
So if someone names their kid Taimur, name after the Muslim conquerer who came to India and looted, killed and plundered the country, they will get disapproval and protest from a section of public. If that seems bigoted, so be it.
I think to understand, one has to thoroughly read Indian history.
Calling the kid as Jalal after Akbar is still not offensive as he did do for the country and considered India as his own. (All were warriors though and wars were common at the time. But you cant name a child after Taimur, Aurganazeb or Ghori)
Osama's attack is nothing in terms of centuries of killings, loot and forced conversions.
I stand for secularity and respect all religions as that is what India stands for today; but I can't condone or forgive someone who named their kid in 'honour' of someone who pillaged it. There is just no excuse for it. It is not about religion from my perspective.
