Okay, aaj ka episode was the makers reinforcing our belief that no matter what anyone tries, Adi and Imlie will always find a way to be together. Chahe koi kuch bhi karle, Adi ke liye Imlie se aage ya Imlie se zyada na kuch dikhta hai aur na karen ch sujhta hai. Also another thing that git confirmed today was that Adi will not repeat the mistakes he made the first time around. Pichli baar baat chupati thi coz Malini is "emotionally weak" (loved his description of Malini, that too with her listening outside😆), lekin this time he refuses to keep anything from his wife.
I loved how aaj aate hi his first question was about where Imlie was and worried she may be alone, Delhi ki sadkon par. I am assuming that she usually comes with Pallo, as she had mentioned as such even yesterday, but as usual kisiko woh cheez yaad nahi thi (Chandni must be on chutti😆). Adi getting worried and then on seeing her immediately wanting to know where she was all this time. There again Imlie telling the truth that she was quietly waiting for Malini without her knowing, which prompted this awesome chop from Adi saying "Imlie ke rehte aapko humari zaroorat hi nahi padegi🤣". Matlab itne manipulation ke baad bhi, DD gets relegated to Saali zone(one tappa less than friendzone as well), where even he is not needed between sisters🤣.
Again the makers reinforced our belief in Adi today, where as soon as he could he blurted out the whole truth to Imlie, including the fact that he spoke to Malini about her feelings for him. Adi has always been such a straight arrow, that the entire time he hid the truth, it must have really tortured him. Hence now the guy tells his truth the first chance he gets. He may be an ostrich regards to Malini, but he is an honest one, who wants to keep communications open with his wife. As usual Imlie is much more perceptive and Adi wants to continue with burying his head in the sand, but still, their open communication really helped me to ignore the remaining manipulative tendencies of the pendulum in their lives.
But yes, twice I felt that Adi sometimes just annoys me with his dialogue. First one was him saying that Malini really knows him so well (really, Adi ko sach mein aisa lagta hai🤦♀️), second was him saying that he will take tips from Malini(of all people in the world) to keep Imlie happy 🤦♀️. Really to god I wanted to get in the screen and shake him.
Another glimpse we got today was the reasoning behind Imlie's DD jaap. Her poignant explaination about being alone all her life and having someone who can support her when she needs it, is fulfilling her bachpan ka sapna. This sapna was before a husband figured in the equation, but this time she want someone other than her husband who can be there for her all her life. Her dialogue that she considers Malini her maika and she really needs her now was so touching, that for a second it even pierced through that dense head of DD, enough for her to stop and rethink her actions. Of course it did not last long, also we know all this is to baad mein help with lagaoing chuna to DD and make her super safed again at a later stage. AC interrupted the behen milap as she knew that leaving her daughter with Imlie will ruin her well laid plans, kyunki she is well waquif with her daughter's pendulum tendencies and reminded her of the wrong but easy way again. DD made her choice and decided to continue to play the spoilt brat who does not want to let go of their prized possession.
Phir aate hai with the best scene of the night. Both Adi & Imlie grumbling about each other, waiting for the other person to manao them. Adi having a headache, so much so that he did not even realise that it was Malini and not Imlie doing his champi (he did understand something was off, as she was doing bade pyaar se, as against Imlie's normal efficiency). Imlie comes in with the beem leaves and realizes that Malini is doing ng his champi, taking the oil without asking. This was a parallel to Malini's own dialogue of always telling Imlie to not take things without asking, but apne liye humesha alag rules for DD. Anyway, Imlie comes with purpose to put the neem leaves in the oil and asks Malini to continue, feeling that wierdness in Malini that she mentioned to Adi in their earlier discussion as well. Lekin phir ADI ne jo chop ki DD ki, haye, uske baaki saare paap maaf ho gaye for me. Usne aise haath pakda aur declare kar diya that I want my wife to do everything for me, gehri dosti jaaye tel lene😆. Bechari gehri dost landed up with a katora in her hand, while yeh dono miya biwi were playing who will manao who first🤣. The third wheel tried to leave, but was hell bent on torturing herself by listening in to their conversation (wow, awesome manners my lady).
Adi realising that his choti si, cute se biwi is mad at him, decides to build the mood by giving her a champi instead. I loved that little moment where Imlie shyly opens her plait, but wahaan bhi BS ko jaldi, he himself open her plait and started giving her a champi, while continuously tickling her in the process. Imlie shayad sharma gayi, or was taking tips from BS and played dense by comparing Adi to her Amma. Adi was scandalized that Imlie was thinking about her Amma at such a romantic moment, but Imlie continued to play dumb, ke "kya moment", frustrating Adi even more. But both looked so adorable, that I legit wanted to capture and keep this moment, coz pata hai ke it will be some time before we will get them truly saath like this without a kaala saaya mandraoing over them.
The precap showed that the sari DD was wearing in the BTS was actually gifted to Imlie by Adi, but DD decided to take it, I assume to show Adi that Imlie gave away his gift to Malini and making him upset at Imlie. Now we need to see how DD manipulates this situation and how Imlie lands up coming out of it in flying colors.

Bold 4: he was grumbling about dd ka jaap and waiting for her to come.. to show that how well he knows n understands her... for all those who are having a tiny doubt on BBSB... his words have been reinforcing this over the last few days.. guess when we see the full track, the beauty of this arc will be revealed like PD3.

Bold 5: love that Imlie became all shy and then Adi was in a rush.. so did he have an inkling that Dd may be hovering about so was rushing into the 'MOMENT'...
See the words the Rs2 doc uttered in the hospital about depression n her 2nd attempt on her life made him take some steps... he has decided to deal with M in his own way and also drive home the point that Imlie is his love and wife. There is no place for anyone else in his mind, heart and soul.
From the time he got her home, he has been subtly reminding her that Imlie is his wife. This is messaging for his maa as well who is feeding the delusional M. He is choosing his words carefully, chopping off any ref to their shared past, by anyone. His words may sound casual but they are not at all casual.. it is for Dd to know and understand that she has no stand in his life or home. I do think he wants to begin a life with Imlie without any guilt and this is his penance of sorts. He married her out of guilt and he must bring it up to her at some time.. it was out of pity that he married her, Imagine the jolt it would everyone especially Dd n her mom.. and ofc Apu.
