Playing a character which is not at same age as actor's age..its a challenge for them. If the makeup/costume/writing dpt can't represent them as per their characters its a FAILURE, nothing to be proud of

There are many shows where actors played characters way younger/older than their real age and many have nailed it. That is something real to be proud of.

Unfortunately, KKb has always relied on acting of its star cast.. and never the story. If you see the gist of KKb, it’s always kidnapping, separation, marriage and rinse repeat for the ‘nth’ time. Characters have appeared, disappeared and no logical explanation was given for what happened to them. So I disagree with your observation (atleast for KKb, not other shows) that characters are important, not actors. In KKb, it’s the direct opposite.

I believe I read somewhere, ( others can correct me) that Tisha themselves didn’t want to age and play parents, they had to be convinced.. not sure regarding the exact details.. 🤔 plus the PH also is very careful regarding such negative publicity, so one can never be sure whether the leap is what Tisha wanted or not.. This can mainly be due to the fact that once Tisha are shown aged, they can kiss good roles goodbye. They will only get those roles where they have to play parents to teens, so maybe they didn’t want to look aged.

EK has been very clear from day 1 with KKB, that she will show what she feels the audience will get hooked onto, not what they want to see.. as a result of which some diehard fans gave up and stopped watching the show. Makers simply don't wanna let DP go thats why they are still here. Otherwise they would have simply just bring the reincarnation thing in stead of 2years leap & end DP story with Pranbir's marriage.

I wouldn't mind anything either. I tried watching this show for Sriti back in the beginning and stopped for this stretchy Tanu track.

And only reason I said that because of that 'having a daughter like Prachi is a curse' thing I saw earlier.

Prachi who has nothing but a good daughter since beginning even after abandoned by both parents - she still misses them, talk about them she is a curse? 😆

Trust me I would be the happiest if Pranbir never ever interact with Mehras and completely forget about them too. Only reason I am annoyed is Pranbir still talk about Prachi's parents & still have to deal with the RHEA MEHRA they left behind.

Of course it does. I am not taking sides, I fully agree with what Adiandsid said in the 1st post on this page. Both couples can’t be ignored. What I was/am against is fighting over giving trp credit to one couple alone.

Curse thing, I don’t want to be involved in the blame game of who said it first, who instigated.. no point in fighting with people who all have their own opinions.... to each his own. Let’s agree to disagree. 😃

What really? I am not invested in this show, so no idea on its current track. Another person in another forum, a long time ago, gave me some brilliant advice to stop watching any Hindi tv show when it stops being entertaining, and frankly not get too emotionally attached to any show. Shows will keep coming and going, makers get their money, actors get theirs; who looses the most here? It’s us who keep fighting, losing our time, energy and mental health over fictional tales.

Exactly.

People are fighting, bullying real persons over fictional show/characters - not worth it.

Speaking of not watching hindi tv show.. I would say you the same - DON'T WATCH. I am badly stuck😵

Am sorry this show was carried by abhigya since the inception of the show. so some newbies who evidently are being treated like sidekicks by the makers themselves cant just take credit for the success of the show. thats just royal false equivalence. DP didn't have much impact at all but they are still hanging around cause they want work. the gall of some people here. 🤔

Well I agree on one point that show was carried by Abhigya (specially on their separation n reunion) as they are part of series from inception time.

But I also believe that Pranbir also becomes very popular which added more audience to the series, so they won't take full credit for the success of the show but yes they play important part in it.

I believe each character plays the important part in the success of the series. May be DP doesn't have any impact on u but on many it does. Some ppl watch it for Abhigya n some watch it for Pranbir.

That's y maker kept both after leap not bring re-carnation story.

Even Tanu and Aliya are as important as Prachi and Rhea. Makers always keep them .😃
