Absurd movies with ridiculous plots - Page 3

Discussion about ‘Anari’ in the other thread reminded me of another

movie which had similar scene... In Anari ( the whole movie was ridiculous) the son indirectly helps to erase his widowed mother’s bindi by jumping in a puddle of water and of course the dirty water splashes in her face...

There was a 2000 movie called Bulandi, a south remake and a super duper hit there I heard.... Such an absurd plot ending but the ridiculous or gross thing was the scene where a woman goes into labor in public, her SIL who’s also the wife of the village head and other women help her with the delivery

Just as the baby is delivered, SIL’s husband dies, wouldn’t you know it, her bindi gets wiped out at the same time... How?

The water from the birthing process is splashed in her face, that’s how - even though her face is near the woman’s head 😛 Or maybe I misunderstood... Maybe the source of water was something else 😛

Papa Kehte Hai is a remake of a Hollywood movie. Mahesh Bhatt was an innovative movie maker in the 80s. By the late 90s he had exhausted mining his own lifestory in innumerable movies.No need for anyone else to make a biopic on him.
