It was a great episode with some beautiful Adilie moments and their dance practice that was totally unexpected.

Oh Yes !!!1 Day 2 of Dd free... Dare I hope for this streak to continue??? 🤣🤣

Opening was the BBC cook off with Anu declaring with distaste that it was dehathi khana with some vegs and hence it is disqualified as it did not meet the criteria of being 'phoren dish'. Grandly announces the winner to be Prachi, who is overjoyed and both saas bahu showed all their battisi... (teeth) 🤣

The Tripathis are distraught and stand by as mute spectators... and Poor Imlie is shedding tears. Then Pallavi steps forth and slays the judges with her arguements, that are too logical for Anu to manipulate.. 😆 and going by taste, the winner is Imlie as she had also prepared pizza with flour, cottage cheese, tomato sauce n vegs.. 2 - 1, declared the winner and finally the younger T's all break out into a smile.. while Apu/Radha are standing stunned..at the turn of events. The judge announces that Day 2 will be a dance competition.

Anu does not like this turn of events and is even more hellbent on making the T's pay for her miseries. Don't get the logic but that is the plot. 🤣

Looks like the Tripathis now have split into 2 groups with the younger gen eating separately. The older T's PT & HT were not to be seen today. Adi, NishVi, Rupi are seated and eating with Imlie serving them her 'phamous Moti Rotis'... they all dig in happily... and there was a big orange blob in the center.. could not figure out what that was.. my guess. a mini mountain of jalebis... 🤣 Imlie apologizes to Pallo and asks her if she is not mad at her, for being disqualified.. Imlie saying she never meant for her to be disqualified at all... This was a nice scene to watch..the younger T's eating together, with banter.. what would have made me happier was Imlie seated at the table with them, eating alongside.. everyone. But guess that will have to wait for the family to accept her, before she sits at the table to share a meal.

While saying sorry Aparna comes and says it is her habit, she messes up n says sorry.. what is she going to do next.. murga banogi aur kuch aur. Daantos..Imlie full haq se ki she does cheating, dokha n lies. Adi is RADIO silent and listens to his maa, who is also scolding Pallavi for getting disqualified. Poor Imlie's smile is pricked and she goes all silent.. Pallo tries to sambhalo saying that Imlie will WIN the BBC cup.. Rupi informs them that the society ladies are taunting Radha/Apu... and that Adilie have to WIN the 2nd round..

To the casual question, who will teach them to dance, Sundar steps in.. and says never fear when Sundar is here.. Finally we get a good Sundar Scene... where he is utliized to his FULL potential.. it was such a heartwarming and funny scene..

Sundar does a few steps and Adilie are watching him all confused n bemused... The scene of Sundar Dancing with Adilie watching, then teaching them was so cute... the bonding of the younger T's on full display... Sundar has become a honorary Tripathi too... 😃 The banter and all working to make Adi a better dancer.. wonder how GM managed to dance so badly when he is brilliant at dancing.. 🤣 Imlie daantoing ADi when he cannot twirl and falls on Imlie not once but twice... iss janam mein nahi ho payega..... tum hamari wajah se haar jayegi... AWWWW....BS walks off in a huff.... Rupi n Nishu encouraging him but Sundar is like 'nope' you are not following the steps... Sundar insisting that Imlie call him not bandar but Sir.. oh I loved that they kept their equation intact.. NOT a bit has changed and they share the same camaraderie... this is SO refreshing to view.

Surprise Surprise..tada... Adilie ka dance and some lovely moments of convo... pleej... Sita Mother... let us continue to get this... aage bhi... pleej.. that is all I am asking for.

Adi brooding in his room and Imlie goes to him.. tries to cajole him into dancing and Adi is like you are going to lose because of me..

Adi calls out the fact that the silly BBC is not going to prove a darn thing... she is already the best as she has saved his life on multiple ocassions, saved Malini, gone above and beyond for his family, who seem to have forgotten all that. He states without a doubt that there is no one in the society who would have accomplished a bit of what Imlie has done for all.

Imlie says she is not doing all this for the chantomai... I missed this word so much as it was a staple in IB... but for his maa and Radha taiji.. wants to be their best bahu.. presents the ghungroos that Aparna handed over at the time of the dance, hoping that Imlie would preserve their dignity and pride.. Imlie reminding him that she won back her affection by dancing... and wants to win back their love.. This convo was much needed, the saath, the way they talk it out... baring their hearts. Also reveals that it is his maa's dream... that the T bahu win the BBC Cup.

Jal Utta Bulbwaaa... Adi is like you want to make me into Anarkali.... he is petrified at the thought... of making a spectacle of himself.. Imlie says the masterji was galat and teaches Adi... the same music ha ha ha.... dhuaan... wala music.. It was a wonderful dance to see.. with Imlie smiling and pagli.. in love.. being encouraging.. doing the swirls and the twirls... it was so wonderful.. to see... ☯️☯️☯️ nazar utharoes..

Aparna and Radha are passing by and stop dead at the sight of Imlie teaching Adi to dance... they just cannot bear to see Adi..holding and dancing with his wife... Imlie.. it will be the ultimate beizzati for them if the society were to see Adile in such close contact and embrace... would be embarassed beyond belief.. yada yada.. I think Apu is realizing how much Adi has changed and she feels that Imlie has cast a spell on her son. A typical Indian saasu ki soch.. for TRP..bring it on..makers..

Precap: Adi in the brown kurta goes to fetch the ghungroos and is locked in his room by Apu.. Imlie waiting for Adi to show up while Anu is itching to disqualify Imlie and heap insults on her head n the T's.

Main aa gayi apne call ke beech mein, as I could not help but share what I thought of the episode.

I am actually glad that they kept Adi quiet in the BBC, as him saying anything would have not solved teh situation or had any impact, other than creating a tamasha. Pallavi being a professional chef, her words had much more weightage and impact, which is why the judges had to change their decision. Loved how Aparna also was initially disappointed that Imlie lost, but then had a surprised look on her face when she realized that she won the round and was still in the competition. Maataji, abhi toh aur bhi surprises dekhne baaki hai😆

The moti roti made a special appearance today, with even Pallavi appreciating it and Adi as usual thusoing it with gusto😆. Matlab bechaare ko judges ke table par itne pakwaan dekhkar bahut zyada bhook lagi hogi, so he was busy eating his biwi ki banayee moti roti to his hearts content. I am surprised that Aparna & Radha have allowed Imlie back in the kitchen to make food again, ya phir looks like they have realized that is a losing battle so they just gave up😆. Rupi di ka side character has become even worse now with just some token dialogues & twinning, at least Nishant thoda bahut toh kuch karne ki koshish kar raha hai, despite his acting handicaps.😆. Right now looks like among the jr's, it is Pallo leading the pack in acting and dialogues.

Moving on to Sundar😆. Wow, Gaurav can dance, and he got some moves😆. WHile they were trying their best to teach Adi to dance, I was laughing at how hard they are trying to show that Adi cannot dance. Matlab yeh wohi Adi hai jisne:

• PD mein Imlie ke saath kapil dance kiya tha aur dhol bhi bajaya tha
• Dhuan Dhuan mein ball room dance kiya tha
• Dream sequence mein 2 baar Imlie ke saath kapil dance bhi kiya tha (once in PD one in society function it self, but theek hai, dream tha toh bhul bhi sakta hai😆)
• Forget PD, Adi had even danced with Malini during their Sangeet and danced well, so achanak pata nahi usse amnesia hua, ya phir we are supposed to forget

Anyway, back to the episode, Adi having 2 left feet looked adorable, even more was seeing his frustration back. Reminded me of how confused and irritated he was during the Imlendar stint, when Imlie was convincing him to do it. Adi does not like to be put in uncomfortable situations, specially when he knows how important it is for his Jhalli. Bechara just gives up and goes to his room, as he just cannot deal with all this dance drama to lick his wounds in private. Aww, just loved Adi here, he was like this bachcha who was just not able to understand what his teacher was teaching and just wanted to run away from everything😆

Imlie finding him in his room and just standing there outside, looking at him being all upset was so well done. She was like that mom, who knows how difficult it is for her son to do something that is out of his comfort zone. So she tries to use that approach in understanding his concerns and reiterating that all this is only to get back her elder's maan and samman and fulfill their dreams. Yahaan pe she used "chantomayee" for the society ladies and I knew that the IB reference would be mentioned, and you did Nim.😆 She reminds him how the last time the family was upset, she did something similar, so it may work this time as well. Adi reminding her of what she has done for him and her family does not faze her or make her feel important (reminds me of someone else who always wanted to hear her achievements being counted and used to preen every time she was praised), she knew he was just stating facts and her doing all those things were not to gain attention, but just because doing them was needed according to her.

Anyway, Imlie ka bulbwa jalta hai and she repeated DD's dialogue (do not maro chappals at me pls) - No student is weak, it the teacher that can be weak or not know how to teach. She affirms that Adi cannot be taught by a bandar, only she will be able to teach her BS ho to taal se taal milao with her, as according to him usse classical dance nahi hota hai(again reference back to charity dance week). Anyway we get the role reversal where Imlie asks for Adi's hand and teaches him how to dance ball room style (shayad college mein seekha hoga. But then it begs the question, why did she not think of this before? Again I am looking for logic na, sorry😆). Maan what twirls & what cute way she was teaching him to be graceful and showing him those stances, aye hay main mar jaava. Whatever you say they dance together like magic, beautiful taal mel. When she fell into his arms, he di not know what to be more surprised about, that his wife is in his arms, or in trying to catch her, he landed up getting the step😆. Aww at our clueless BBBS😆.

Aparna & Radha seeing him dance and commenting that Adi Imlie ke jaal mein phas gaya, sachi mein reminded me of that meme on Twitter with Adi as a jal pari caught in Imlie's net and that made me laugh for 10 mins straight🤣. Aparna was like a typical sasuma saying that beta naak kata dega and bahu ne jadoo kar diya uske bete par. 😆 They both do not know just how far Adi can go for Imlie, unhone toh toh bas motion poster dekha hai aur yeh haal hai, puri picture dekhte toh heart attack aa jata😆

Today Aparna was just not able to understand that uska beta who never did anything for anyone, despite doing so much minnat, is willing to do anything for this piddu si 19 year old gaon ki chori. Her comprehension just goes out of the window on seeing her changed son and the reason behind that change. It will take her some time and a lot of drama from Imlie to connect the dots and accept that this change is for the good and that it does not matter who he has changed for.

Precap has validated Snow's prediction and Flower's intuition - Adi is the typical ITV bahu who is going to be locked in the room by his mom to keep him from going to the function. Let the dance competition begin😆

A good episode on many levels. Tippani likhath hain dinner wa ke baad😆. Didi ke naa hone par hum howath hai greedy🤣.

AC kitna baahari dikhaave ko ahmiyet deti hai aaj uske comments me dikh rahe the. She continues to stay in a marriage with a spineless man for this very reason. Isko siraf naam aur shohrat se matlab hai🤢. Khud ki koi identity nahi aur naahi banane ki koi koshish. Pukeworthy dialogues from society aunties about naukrani hone he hisaab se khaana banana aana chahiye, paghaar kaatogi ya phir maike bej doghi🤢

Imlu has a lovable big sister in pallo❤️❤️❤️. Loved her clear cut logical arguments to make imlu win and for providing such staunch support to her at the dinner table jo uski asli badi behen ne aaj tak nahi ki. Nice to see all younger ts bonding as a group and rallying together for imlu. Dhang ki ek head chirraya gurl milath hai imlu ko uski pallo bhabhi me apart from her balamwa bs🤗

Dance competition prep scene was cute. Padhaare apne sundar saar jinhone kuch fundoo steps dikhaaye teacher banke adilie ko sikhaane🤣. Shaayad ye bhi style maarthe maarthe kisi ghar me kaam karthe dance seekh khe aaya🤣. Kudos to st and gm for their acting especially to gm for clearly potraying a clumsy dancer which he is not. Acchi acting yahan pe👏. And thanks to the makers for keeping the sunlie fun banter intact and for not introducing any unnecessary awkwardness on account of imlu now being revealed as a bahurani now. Comfort level itna hai ki imlu ke pathi ko naam se bula lees aur mila ek slightly irritated ghoortha huwa bs🤣.

Loveliest scene of the day was imlu teaching bs to dance. Simple , organic aur thoda majjakiyya rakh ke scene ko itna lovely banaya. It was lovely to see adi acknowledge how much imlu has already done for the family. In his eyes she is already the best and it is a pity the family cannot look beyond the naukrani tag to recognize her worth based on her actions.

I just hope at the end of BBC they should not disqualify Imlie for her marriage not being registered similar to tht Mrs Sri lanka contest where the winner was disqualified after winning bcoz they thought she was divorced .. and not separated …
