Just couldn't understand how is Anirudh able to accept Sampurna as his Maa when she is the root cause for all his miseries.

She was the one who had turned the villagers against Anidita and got them divorced, got Bondita land up in Thakuma's hell and everything that turned Rudhita's life upside down.

Is Bondita's misfortune of belonging to Krishnanagar, something which wasn't in her control, a bigger sin than Sampurna's deliberate deeds to hurt him and his family?

If Sampurna's heinous deeds are forgivable for Anirudh, then why is Bondita punished and held responsible for something with no fault of hers? Why is she distanced from him despite being innocent?

I am not convinced with the fact that he wants to protect her from being entangled into this ruthless feud. He's not realizing that keeping her away from him is the biggest pain he could ever give her.

And it's doing him no good either.

He seriously needs to be reminded of the below lines about Bondita and their relationship:

" Ladna pada lad jaungi duniya se mei,

Saath dega woh,

Agar hai woh haunsla mera...

Rishta tera mera.... "

He is her sansaar, he is her haunsla.

Having her near him is worth fighting thousand such feuds with Krishnanagar.

They were destined to be United to serve a bigger purpose - to fight for women's rights and all other social evils of the country.

Sometimes, you need to lose the battle to win the war.

He needs to lose the battle of his (false) enmity with Bondita, accept her and his true feelings for her which will help him win the war against Krishnanagar and the social evils that THEY are born to fight TOGETHER.

I'm willing to cut Ani some slack in this regard because of the horror he had to witness that had been inflicted on his family. He watched his father, the most strong and intelligent man he knew be reduced to a mad man.

Till date, nothing he had ever done for Bon had any direct affect on his family in that manner and this was the first time, he had to choose between her or his families lives so he obviously chose his family just like how Bon chose her mom when kept at gunpoint.

Sampoo is irredeemable, I agree but he cannot do anything about it now. It's not like he is going around being all Sampoo maa, Sampoo maa with her 😆 He is just being cordial because she is his father's wife and the mother of Shashwati, he can't throw her out now.

In comparison, I'm quite annoyed with Bon being all smiley with TM and that family Especially after knowing that they haven't changed in the slightest. I know she must be pretending to be nice but kuch zyaada ho raha hai aaj kal due to her pyaar ka bhukar.

Honestly speaking, even Ani when he returned from London was in a bubble and just roaring at everyone without understanding the consequences of his actions until the marriage happened 😆

Bon is kinda following his footsteps in different way because unlike Ani who had his time to just focus on social issues, Bon has been just occupied by this enmity and she is in her Sakha Babu bubble and kuch toh hoga aab aage that will burst it for her to actually realize she needs to change her approach to things.

Hi Rinnie,

I understand the motivation behind Ani's changed behaviour.

But speaking of his relationship with Sampurna, it didn't give me cordial vibes at all; especially in the last 2 episodes.

She had chided him " yeh kya bekar ki zidd hai Anirudh" when he left Vyjayanti in the cold weather.

He was calmly listening to her when she was pointing out his rudeness towards Vyjayanti. He was even contemplating it for sometime after she left until Bondita called him.

I don't think that a person with whom he only has a cordial relationship will take liberties to interfere in his life/decisions unless he/she has been given the right to do so.

Hence, arises the question of his unfair treatment towards Bondita when what Sampurna did is worse and deliberate.

Although Sampurna has repented and has tried to redeem, I am not sure if Anirudh is aware that she was behind his divorce with Bondita which led to all the chaos that followed till date.

Hi Deewani-jii 😉!

What shall I call you btw? ❤️

I understand what you mean with him listening to her chiding quietly, I think it was probably due to the circumstances and he was already feeling quite guilty in a way with his behavior with VJ. I haven't seem them interact before this, there were many instances but Ani is aloof from everyone, even his behavior towards Shashwati is quite stern.

He was more open and loving towards the orphaned children.

He does not hate Bondita, he doesn't blame her for anything if you notice he did not like Som bringing up Bondita's name while blaming KN people.

His strength and weakness, both, have been Bondita. He is willing to give up everything and anything for her, that's what he is afraid of most and the reason he keeps away. He knows she won't willing stay away unless he is very harsh so he does all that nautanki.

Also, like you said, I really doubt he knows all the kaand Sampoo did This is ITV, they probably brushed it under the rug.

Hi Rinnie ji,

Deewani ji is cute and funny enough. But since you asked, you can call me Priya.

I never doubted Anirudh's love for Bondita. It's just that I said Bondita is worth fighting for and he's subjecting himself and Bondita both to misery by staying away from her.

I understand rekindling his relationship with Bondita would escalate the feud between the villages which he doesn't want. But I feel a fight to have Bondita with him forever is better than dying in bits everyday fighting with his feelings.

Once he got Bondita by his side, they can weather any storm together.

I would suggest he should rather keep a sword fighting competition that would ultimately decide where will Bondita stay forever than to fight for who will do the Durga puja each year.

The intent is not to make Bondita look like a commodity here but I am sure that even Bondita might welcome the idea.🤣

It's not like either of the villages can't afford to have their own Durga idol and do puja.
