I toh wanted to say that aapki didi itni mahaan thi, toh why did she allow Adi to believe that she wrote that poem, when she did not. She was being selfish by saying that poem was hers as it suited her purpose.

People compare Adi to Vanraj & Malini to Anupama (Which is hilarious, I mean chodo on that). But even there, the day Anupama found out, she never once asked Vanraj to patch up or give their relationship a chance, jab ki there he wanted to continue the marriage. She had self respect, though not being well educated & dependent on her husband. Uska toh 25 years ki shaadi thi. Yahaan 7 saal ki dating aur 7 mahine ke shaadi ke liye, this well educated woman is ready to sacrifice her self respect? How is she mahaan, I just don't get it. Just because someone does not put a case on their husband for bigamy does not make them mahaan. It either makes them mature to walk away from a toxic relationship (which she is not and did not do, Anupama did that) or makes them weak to want to cling on to the remnants of a relationship that does not give you anything else but pain, but you would rather hold on to the pain & cry rather than do something about it. Malini falls in the latter category.

Imli always wanted Adi to honor his vows to Malini even though technically he made his vows with her in PD first even if at gunpoint.

Adi told Malini he was married to Imli at gunpoint, it’s not his fault she couldn’t deal with it and fainted. Had she dealt with the news after the hospital stay she could have called off the wedding once recalled his confession about the first wedding in PD. Before he left for PD she wondered if he’d find someone there. Her emotional dependence is what makes her weak.

The only constant in life is change. Malini was expecting Adi to be the man she knew from 7 yrs ago. Did she not notice the subtle ways Adi may have changed in those 7 yrs? Most men feel suffocated when their wives get needy for attention and clingy.

Adi finds Imli’s outlook on life challenging and invigorating. They challenge and respect the other’s POV so it lets them grow as a couple.
