Completely agree on the dialogue, it sounded very weird coming from an educated Barrister like Bondita. If someone like Tapur/Tupur said it, would have been cringe but understood. As for the love story and everything, frankly, right now she is trying to make sense of reality. Like a fellow member pointed out, Sumati and Anirudh are her anchors since childhood and she cannot bear to lose them. Yes, it does seem in the face right now, but I'm seeing it more like she just wants answers so she knows what to do next. Till now she was living for 8 years away from all the chaos, and he fulfilled his promise, so she is still untouched by some of this and is innocent.

She will go back to doing what she is destined to, maybe when she gets a rude shock and awakening by seeing the true resultant of the whole dushmani and how it has affected not just the families, but society. Maybe Ani will make her see (albeit by avoiding her or telling her off) that the issue is bigger than just patching up, they have to get the villagers to stand as one force against British Raj at some point and end the other prevailing social evils too.

Self respect? I don't think she has done anything that bad that she lost her self respect. Abhi tak its just between them. She wants answers, that's all.

Again, I'll say the same thing, he is her family, her world, her bhagwan, her everything. If tomorrow Sumati behaves like Ani, she would run after her too in the same way.

Her world knows no other truth than Anirudh and Sumati.

It's very similar to how we would chase after our parents if they are angry with us. Self respect, pride, ego kuch ata nahi iske samne because they are the ones who gave us this life.

So for that reason, we will try our hardest.

Again,, everyone has their limit.. abhi tak Bondita ka limit aya nahi hai.

But she is right now confused about her surroundings. She has only one version of the story, she wants to know what happened on the other side. Once he tells her, maybe she will be disillusioned and leave his path too. We have the smart, intelligent Bondita act even now because she knows how to make him listen to her.
