You mean by software that does so, correct? I've seen my friends or dear ones have exams proctored via their computers in the sense that their academic institutions require them to download a software which only connects to the link for the exam & record their actions via camera or through a particular link which again does the only connecting to the exam link only. Some of them have reported to the university of the privacy concerns regarding the webcams to which the university system says that either they maintain the academic code of honor against cheating.😆Originally posted by: Biggboss15

I think they have to go to centres which have computers and have invigilators, cameras and everything, the computer software is also specialised.
Our university conducted exam in the manner you said. We had our webcams on, audios also on, I think. And then the browser would not let you take the mouse out of the screen, will give warning immediately. After 8 warning your exam would be terminated. It worked. 😆
BOLD: Exactly. I thought I was probably rambling my words because it looked like a paragraph. 😆 But yeah, in the past, back during my college & grad school days --- it was physically present by using the traditional writing (which I detested because my handwriting is sloppy as heck till this date lol) or using computers/laptops wherein the proctor provides you with a link which basically maneuvers the internet by restricting the link solely to the exam link. This proctoring software ka funda became more apparent during this pandemic, with concerns geared towards privacy from the webcam.Originally posted by: DelusionsOfNeha

That's good. It helps a lot. 👍🏼
Oh, interesting, thanks for sharing.😊Yeah, with software, especially when you are off-campus like home or whatever external space provided to take the exams, WiFi & silent area is imperative. 😆Originally posted by: Biggboss15

See, I'm not familiar with the process as I took the SAT exam & GRE exams years ago (regular one & subject-based ones aside from the other requirements but it's ancient history now so forgot it lol😆). Nowadays, there are recent changes with exams, some even becoming pass/fail and/or other tactics involved.
@Bold- Oh okay, there is already an EDT here!! Why don't we use it then? I think that we should use to discuss stuffs about episodes in general. Individual threads are good and that should remain there to have the written updates of the individual episodes. Also discussions in EDT doesn't mean we won't have any individual discussion threads.Originally posted by: DelusionsOfNeha
EDT to hai already but we don't use it, individual episode wala is better to keep a tab and forum activity bhi dikhti hai with more threads.
AT n members intro is cool idea! 👍🏼
@Red: Yeah, then I will made it. 1)Ahilya AT and 2) Members Introduction thread, okay?
