This is such a beautiful post, thank you for tagging! Will comment in detail later today ❤️

EDIT:

I loved loved Shiva’s happy, carefree, innocent joy today on the success of his prank today! ❤️

Hats off to how you expanded upon the lyrics of the song Chalo ek Baar pair.. very significant and symbolic! 👏

ShiVi’s childhood is always a joy to read about! Chotu Shiva is such a treat to watch 😆

Villain Shiva throwing juice on Raavi was one of my fav scenes .. I’m pretty sure he secretly enjoyed teasing/annoying her 😆

My fav lines from your post: From Dev's pretty princess, he made her his Raavi. And that is what she remains, to this day, and forever

Can’t wait for your next one!

Lovely post! ❤️ I enjoyed reading it so much

One thing I wanted to add from my end. I was rewatching the Mujhse Dosti Karogi scene. If I had to put into words Shiva’s emotions, I would say: “Not Again”. He wasn’t outright jealous or angry or hurt. Instead, it was a pinch of all these emotions mixed in with flashes of their childhood. 💔 I felt in that second he was transported back in time. Which is why her suggestion of being strangers affected him so much.

Coming to Dev, I found Chota Dev’s tone while speaking to Raavi so adorable. It wasn’t the typical Im bored but I’ll reply (which a lot of little boys do when asked for compliments). He was being genuine. There was so much innocence and warmth in his reply. I think that’s another reason why I found his apology and attempt at bringing back their friendship so genuine. Doesn’t absolve him of what he did but I do believe Dev is being genuine. He cares for Raavi, his friend. The Raavi that loved him is one he never really understood.

Can’t wait to read the rest!! ❤️ I have Mon off and I am taking vacation days tomorrow n Fri. So will have a very long weekend! I plan to read and comment in more detail! This post was such a solid read! Took away all my stress from the hectic day! Thanks again for tagging 🤗

Beautiful as always.

There is this companionship between Shiva and Raavi.

They both are opposite to each other but important to each other.

They grew up together and where Dev became her prince charming, Shiva became her nightmare and yet when she does something as much as she thinks about Dev she thinks about Shiva too. It is a ying and yang situation here.

Shiva have disliked her for her relationship with Maami but he has never been able to negate her goodness and that is the reason why he can’t and won’t let others bully her, thats solely his department.

And u r right that song was beautiful. Even Shiva’s reaction to it along with his words was beautiful. When he says we will have to go and erase our childhood, it just made me feel a little emotional. Here we have kids who have known each other their whole life. That kind of connection is phenomenal. I know it because I have it. They have fought each other tooth and nails. They know the other very deeply. They have seen and maintain that the other might be bizarre but not bad. Each time their childhood is mentioned its filled with the other. That is not just something u can erase. And Shiva would rather not because that is what has shaped both of them today. Loosing it will be like loosing themselves. He doesn’t refuse her stranger to friendship offer due to friend zoning threat🤣 No! He refuses it because if that happens they won’t be the same Shiva and Raavi. They will be someone else. They both have played a major hand in shaping the other to what they r today. N that will be lost. So they will have to take it forward just like that. They will have to build on what is already there. And that is how they will make it beautiful because their history is rich and strong. And someday maybe they will look back at their childhood and laugh like Shiva did as he gifted her the chipkali...

This post made me both happy and sad at the same time. The way you described Raavi and Shiva's relationship in detail is love🤗

Coming to the happy part..

Raavi wants to make a fresh start leaving behind all the fights and past bitterness with Shiva. For her those childhood memories that she has with him is not the once Raavi wants to cherish or remember and on the contrary we have Shiva who does not want to erase their past. For him those childhood memories are valuable. Coz that's where the journey of Shivi began❤️

The question you have been asking in many of your posts that, did Shiva secretly admire Raavi or have crush on her? I think the answer is YES😳

As you say Dev is the blue-eyed boy who was loved by all and Raavi's inclination towards him was natural. Shiva is unable to handle this equation because he deep down wants the attention that Raavi gives to Dev for himself🤣The fights and pranks are therefore his way of becoming a part if Raavi's life😆. IMO Raavi too wants Shiva's acceptance but for that she first have to accept Shiva in real sense😆

Now the sad part..

Veer played the same song for A 🥺

True, our childhood has more than a lion's share of effect on how we live, interact and love as adults. Which is why many of us have tons of unlearning to do as parents sometimes.

Shiva and Raavi's childhood has shaped them into their respective roles at the moment. They have lessons to unlearn but that does not mean they need to or even can erase their childhood. Feeling cannot be wiped away. We as humans learn to grow around them.

Well written opinion piece.❤️

Wow! The first post is amazing

I haven’t heard Urdu poetry and I didn’t relate much with the song, but it’s become special after reading your explanation ❤️

Ab villain and heroine ke beech main hero ka kya kaam
Correct! And that’s my favourite genre 😆 villain gets the girl 😂

🤗 Looking forward to the rest Piuuuu
