Aaloo ke bacche - ek laal mirchi aur ek pyaz. Ye grandchildren dadi ke naak me dam kardenge shayad tab IshqAan naak se aage badh paye.
Lmao. What sort of nonsense am I even writing! 🤣

I wonder why she is still putting up with him. I know the kind of circumstances and all sort of reasons that hold women back from making the right choice but.. It just saddens me everytime I come across cases of domestic abuse.
Yes, her mom is a distant relative of mine.
Her husband wasn't a beater in the sense ke belt se ya pee kar mart ho. But what I know is he would slap her at times.
They went through counselling and the controlling MIL (even though she lived in a different city), to distance herself. He doesn't strike her anymore in his anger.. and her mom was like.. ab toh apne pati ki tareef bhi karti hai.
IDK about her but not sure how I can respect a man like that. 🤢

🤣She was going on and on how Ahaan is not romantic, khud to sabji mandi leke baith gayi thi😆
Aur ahaan kya pura sansaar isi sherwani mein ghumage? Kal bhi yeh hi pehana hai usne 🤦♀️

Oh I am not surprised. It is important for the husband to have a spine and draw the line otherwise his family gets a free pass to do anything. But sadly, the woman needs to have a spine and say enough too - otherwise they will all walk over her.
Her MIL is chaalu and she is not diplomatic or cunning. He thinks his mom is right/ a saint and his wife is wrong.
The problem is, men can't see through the games. Many have a mindset yeh mujhe ghar waalon se alag kar degi.

Hamse na ho paayega!
Sigh. Domestic violence cases run in my very family. Well, not exactly family but relatives. And it's not one. Sigh. Sucks from every side and it's tough af to keep my tongue in control when my aunt knocks the door and starts justifying her son beating up his wife every now and then. 🤢
I usually don't go too far but once I couldn't resist and ended up saying that her son needs medical help for his psychotic behavior.
Everything aside but I don't get this one thing.
They said "Hum Gareeb the" aur supposedly all this ameeri has come later on, right?
Who's the one who has built this entire empire?
Chachu or Ahaan?
If it's Ahaan who has made them "rich" then AVM's character has not been given proper detailing to.
Ahaan seems to be a khaandaani-rich who has never seen the dearth of money. He is the kind of guy who has always had money.
He is definitely a guy who has never been middle class cuz if he had been then there would be a lot of things he would understand about Ishqi and her connotations.
Someone pls throw some light on this, who has made this whole empire?
He definitely does not seem like Dev Dixit, he did everything on her own but he always knew the life without money and it was always touched upon in the show. Infact, Sonakshi though was middle class but the rich Dev Dixit had seen a far difficult childhood.
Whereas, the Malhotras don't seem to have a rags to riches story. Especially the young kids (Ahaan, Sonu, Kartik) none of them seem to have faced any monetary issues at any given point in their lives.
