For e.g., Prachi understands that Milind is tensed, but fails to realize that he is tensed BECAUSE of his newfound feelings for her. She fails to realize this because, in her mind, Milind can never fall for her at this phase! They both are DENYING the prospect of the other person loving them!!!!!!!

If she realises that he is tense, then what does she think it is? The guy had announced to the world he wanted an NP engagement and yet looks like the world collapsed around him when he heard of it. What other reason could there be but that he is not happy about the announcement? Well, granted that she thinks that he is incapable of loving her, but still the thought should bother her that he is not happy should it not. But she seems to ignore it. Moreover was hse not the one to desperately want him to love her? So deep withing she is hoping that he returns her feelings. Yet she is too blind to see it when it stares at her face.

^ Yeah, but he always came off as a curt, disrespectful, serious guy whenever they met. Neev, on the other hand, was always jumpy and excited about everything, but, to her, Milind was an introvert who only understood the language of hatred. Now, when she accepts that he has forgotten the most important year of his life, therefore reverting to his old self, she finds nothing amiss with his reaction! She was never aware of his behaviour with Ayesha in the Chawl - she has actually never seen them together romantically!

In fact, she was told several times by Shakuni Mama that HE wanted NP to get engaged...those words mean more to her than his outward expressions. Later, he congratulates her on engaged to Neev, which only further breaks her heart...*ditto for Milind*

They choose to ignore the obvious, and are living in a denial mode

Kitty she believes her Sakuni mama but not Milsi's sad looks? She may not have seen him with WWW before. But even in this PA mode the guy looked happier when he asked her to be his friend. He looked happier when he woke up on her shoulder and now he comes to know of the engagement he looks crestfallen. He walks off when that Sakuni mama talks of marriage. All this should seem terribly inconsistent to her but sadly does not. As to his wishing her, that only goes to prove my point. She definitely was not deaf. She heard his words but failed to see his looks when he said it. Well, that is my view.

I agree they're blind to each others plight it's saddening that they're both sacrificing for the supposed happiness of the other yet they fail to register the pain each goes through.I hope the snake gives us a big happy reunion this time God I'm so fretting for Michi to be together now.

well written i am sure they will see each others feeling really soon hopefully but sometime it is hard to see the love when you have so many people manipulating around you like ayesha

Ayesha these days looks like a comedian rather than a vamp. Her non-stop nonsense is only irritatin Milsi for it rings so hollow. I doubt he believes everything thing she says. Right now all he wants to do is to shut her out and heal his wounds. In the process I hope he does not shut Prachi out too and keeps seeing the pain in her eyes. Hopefully his vision will get cleared. Prachi too should learn to be more perceptive of Milsi's looks. The guy is clarly not happy and if she thinks this fake enagement has made him so, she needs to shake out of it and clear her vision too.

Whatever be the case hope these guys dont make this a long haul. Getting pretty sick of all these misunderstandings.

Opti, a topic after my own heart! This blindness has had me pulling my hair out till I'm quite bald. 😆 I had mentioned this aspect in several of my posts but the sad truth is that we can't blame either of them simply because it's not in the script.

Now to the actual topic....not only are these two blind to each other's feelings and crestfallen looks, that stupid ayesha too has joined the bandwagon. Couldn't she see that her beloved looked and sounded totally uninterested in the double wedding thingy?

About Milind's blindness...not only is he blind to Prachi's sad face and lack of joy at both her engagement or wedding, he's blind to certain aspects of his feelings for her too.

I was rather disappointed with his indecision over his feelings for her on the cliff. He wondered if these feelings really did exist or just a figment of his imagination.

My point is this, true he doesn't remember but the fact remains that he loved her to bits before the PA and now those feelings have arisen again..... he's rediscovering his love.....but it seems as though he's discovering it for the first time. His head should rightly say what he's feeling for her is wrong under the circumstsnces but what about his heart? At some deep subconscious level his heart should tell him what he's feeling is right.

I was disappointed that he didn't actually articulate this dichotomy.

As for Prachi, she deserves a nice little rap on the knuckles....SHE hasn't lost her memory....she says she knows Milind like no one else does....where he goes when he's down, why he hated her so much during the PIM episodes...not once did she question his motives or motivations, not even in the awful courtroom episode. So, why seem so blind to his pain now?

His sad soulful looks were pleading to her, he even turned away when she was about to place the ring on Neev's fingers...and she SAW him do that...he runs after her and looks after her whenever she's in need.

So, she oughtn't simply to wonder but actually KNOW what he feels for her is his resurgent love....but as the silly story demands it, she has to ignore it till the double wedding day arrives when everything is sure to be resolved.
