It is said that love is blind. One normally presumes that the word blind here means 'blind to each other's faults and failings'. But these two have taken it to a whole new level. They are so much in love with each other and blinded by it, they cannot even see the same feelings in the other's eyes. Here is Milsi consoling himself that he should be happy for Prachi who found her childhood love but the guy is'nt seeing that the woman he is trying to be pleased for is not pleased herself. In fact she is far from it. Pain in written all over the face at the very mention of engagement or marriage to the supposed love of her life. Should it not seem strange to him that a newly 'engaged' woman looks like she has just seen a ghost? No it is'nt because he is blind as a bat.
Prachi is no better. Here is a guy who congratulates her on her engagement, an engagement he himself was the first to announce, yet the guy looks like he has swallowed a milestone. He is saddened to see her with Neev. His eyes plead with her not to leave him. He fails to register joy when mamaji drops the bomb of a double marriage. For a man who is supposedly in love with his childhood friend and who wants to marry off his new friend to her childhood friend, should he not be jumping with joy at the very idea? No he does not. Instead He abruptly gets up and leaves the place unable to give an answer to mamaji's question. Does his behaviour not seem strange to her? No it doesn't because she is as blind as a bat too!
So when are these two going to stop looking inward and seeing the love they feel and start looking outward to see the love in their loved one's eyes?
