Yea even I thought at first that this was an old interview. Initial Kavya was grey. She was a modern woman who would put herself first and speak the truth. Other than EMA, which i always say was Vanraj's fault more because she was clear with her husband at that time about where she stands. It was V who was going in circles.

But anyways other than that resort time Kavya (which creatives tried very hard to make her negative to get sympathy for V), she has been a modern woman. She fell in love with a guy who was not happy with his wife.

And I will never understand being so modern and educated, she wanted to marry this guy after knowing exactly how he is. She knew very well he didnt want to marry. it felt like creatives were may be trying to experiment the audience's reactions on getting Vanraj and Anupama back together and thats why they made Kavya very negative. I was finally happy today that Vanraj had a flashback of his treatment with Anupama. I was wishing that everyday for him and baa.

Everything apart, this Anupama herself is intolerable these days. Today's precap was the line for me. makes me want to even stop reading the updates. she is interfering sooo much that i actually feel bad for Kavya that she is not even getting a chance to live her life and prove herself because Anupama is there and putting her nose in their business all the time and then goes around telling baa and the kids not to interfere and blah blah blah. How about you take us to your school and dance classes and show us how you are doing there other than handing out mangoes.

Now Kinjal being negative. Was it necessary to add the Kavya angle here too. It could have been real too right that she is trying to spend time with toshu and anupama has to do dance classes so she asks kinjal to cook for the whole family and thats what gets to Kinjal. The whole show was capable to run with all the real and light grey shades. They ruined it completely.

I agree Kavya ko negative bana rahe hai to whitewash vanraj, but she is looking negative right, what I cannot digest is the actor playing the role justifies each and everything she does is correct and represents modern women, and I don't think modern women are the ones kike kavya's character.

Regarding kinjal, I don't think she will turn negative, it will just be a phase and that also she won't be negative. Also their promos these days are very misleading, nothing actually happens in the episodes that they show in promo. So I would wait and watch for the episodes to unfold and see where they are taking her character, before reaching to a strong conclusion

I agree they are butchering anupamaa character also and no she is not looking mahaan doing it, but plain wrong in interfering between them, but that doesn't absolve kavya from what all she does, she is an adult with brains and exactly knows what she is doing. And in the promo what kavya said was already even told by Rakhi to Kinjal. And obviously, Kavya always wanted just V for her, she always had plan to seperate him from his family, she told even at Vanraj's bday party, at the resort and to rakhi also. In resort toh Anu always stayed away from anything related to VanYa, it was always kavya who going to her, be it asking to apply mehendi, showing her look of her wedding, calling her to find vanraj, or trying to show off her mangalsutra to her. So her actions are not always bcoz of Anupamaa's interference. Today also she said she wants to do fast so she can get back at Anu and make her jealous. Her every decision revolves around how that decision will hurt anupamaa. She ruined Toshu's wedding, sent samar to jail on wrong complaint, troubled pakhi to an extent that she had to see a psychiatrist. During all these times to Vanraj was living with her far from Anu. Still she did all these things.

Earlier also when the EMA was not exposed to anyone, she had misbehaved with baa when she was living with them, after Toshu's engagement, where she told baa that she will do whatever she wants to do bcoz this house is of Vanraj and not baa's so she should stop telling her what to do. So she has always been disrespectful, its not that she turned disrespectful now.

But whatever that character is on show, is no way a modern independent strong woman would do, in my opinion, you may have different opinion about it. She even tried to commit suicide for an idiot like Vanraj.

oh no you are totally right. the Kavya today is a joke. Marrying into this family knowing exactly how conservative they are, especially her V. She even knew he didnt want to marry her and forced him. She looked like a clown screaming for attention that time.

what i meant was, i thought this was an old article until someone mentioned it is not. Its funny how delusional she is. I guess i didnt make myself clear and went off on a rant on how they messed up. I actually wanted Vanraj to be the only negative character and suffer, and Kavya a little less than him. Keep the show very realistic on how they all adjust with each other. Instead this is an intolerable drama :)

Then I also dont like the lectures about maid. I am sure my MIL was watching and agreeing to that. haha. We have had some drama too to hire a cook in the house. But everyone was nice to each other and worked it out.

@bold - no worries, these days most of us are on ranting mode, almost all characters are butchered 😂

Ek Kinjal was spared but she is also come in target of the writers 😂😂😂 Lets see what happens, I am hoping against hope that she won't be negative, it will just be a phase showing the adjustment, and I would love if during this track they show how the family is adjusting and not kinjal, then this track will make absolute sense.

I am not married, so haven't had experience of decision making process of having a maid as yet, bcoz ghar pe toh sab mummy decide karti hai😜😂

Yes I agree everyone has to adjust to maid, and in turn even maid should adjust specially when she is living with them. But in their case the one who brought maid was only not interested in taking her responsibility. When anupamaa said that just explain your maid to not to misbehave with baa, Kavya's answer was Gita jaisi hai waisi hi rahegi, jisko Jo karna hai karle, jisko problem hai woh adjust kare. And in 2 mins, when gita misbehaved with her or rather showed her the mirror, she threatened to make a complaint against her in the union and not to pay her salary. She was least bothered how gita behaves with others and told them to adjust and herself couldn't tolerate when she did the same to her. Hypocrite much 😂😂

And then she expects everyone should respect her and accept her. You are right currently Kavya has become a joke, or she is been made into a joke by writers 😜😂

Kavya is a cheater ,she is not an independent and educated women, she is obsessed & immature lady,she don't know how to behave with kids. She is working lady, we r also working but we hardly get time to think about others, but she is free all time, she is only chanting anupama, vee mala whole day.

I swear, playing a negative character you should know its flaws, just bcoz u are portraying that character doesnt mean u have to defend it and she thinks people loves her character more. And apart from that she said this comes naturally to her 🤣🤣 khudko real life kavya bata diya 😂

I have heard about ghum didi also, don't watch the show but had read some tweets about hoe delusional the didi is.

Modern women would live on her own expenses and not live in such a house where everyone hates her and keep insulting her.

Kavya forced vanraj to marry her who was never interested.

Vanraj keeps insulting her but she just wants to win him to show to Anupama who doesn't care

By no means Kavya is modern Indian woman.
