I think Sonu will trust her, she has known the truth all along and seen that Ishqi was ruined but she didn't let anyone know

Whilst Ishqi spoke, Ahaan ke mann ke list mein se points were getting checked yet again. His heart did a tally again on how time and again Ishqi is and has always been the right girl for him. And thus the slight smile

Kinda reminded me of that scene from K3G where SRK's character arrives only to find Kajol's character drenched in rain, bidding her final goodbye to her father and in turn only reiterating the decision he always knew in heart.
