maybe they are just interested in creative talent from India, Shaheer Sheikh has also acted in a no. of Indonesian shows

I think Ishqi is actually doing this because she is embarrassed that she showed her raw emotions to him, she didn't expect him to actually try and make her remember

But Shaheer sheikh was already an established star by then.. and as an actor it’s very different.. he has to act and it can be dubbed.

As a director she has to direct people that speak a different language.. strange. And as per wiki this was before she became a producer in India.

The thing is that Ishqi is the caregiver for her Massi, her actions are driven on need and she is not entitled to accept or reject work on her own whims and fancies. She understands that beggars can't be choosers and Ahaan is not familiar with the idea. So, yes, he underestimated her, big time
