Refugee was a flop because it was offered to Aishwarya Rai first (like all the movies in the world) but Ash rejected it because of some reason (just like she rejects all the movies in the world) and only after she rejected it, then it was offered to Kareena. Because every movie in the world is made for Aishwara and every movie is offered to Aishwarya first.

Refugee was a flop but it will become a cult classic in 20 years because it is the movie of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's husband.
