Episode 18
Should I say that the more I feel angry and frustrated at the complete unfair treatment with the leads, I cannot help and come back for the show because of the subtle touch of heart break they still have in these characters and the performances of the leads, are so brilliant that my heart goes out to the people named Farhad and Mahi, who were/are naive, innocent, young and undeserving of the tragedy they are going through.
I hated the episode, it was a stupid telecast of how impaired and blind the mentality of the supposed royals are. Mahi's family, crying and giving her shabaashi on what? Pushing herself to self inflicted misery? Really Qazim Shah? That made you proud? Thank God my dad or our fathers would not be proud on such a decision, they were talking like helpless fools who have nothing to do. Get your daughter back, and set her free, she will obviously retort back, but parents have to be more responsible and strict when children are in destructive mode. I have no words for Taimoor's mother, class and money does not change people's mentality, why the hell is she behaving like a complete monster with Mahi? and who were those lame female servants doing lots of over acting on Taimoor's absence, it looked hilarious🤪, I laughed at that shot, sorry no sympathies for Taimoor, not helping me feel even a 0.0001% of sympathy for the dead character who was never important to begin with.
Mahi, well she is in trauma and mourning Taimoor, I will just say that this suffering will end soon, because she has no memories of Taimoor except that phone call, memories made with loved ones hurt the most, she will not be hurt but only be lonely, right now she is jolted because she thinks it is Farhad's curse which ruined her life, but sooner or later she will realize that her life is not over yet, there is someone somewhere who will always love her more than anything in the world and she deserves to be happy, either with another man or either by pursuing her studies. Taimoor was the worst thing that happened to her, I hate the writer, he could have made Mahi reject Farhad even without Taimoor being in the picture, Mahi would not fall for Farhad anyway, why just insert a forced tragedy to make her from a bold and brave girl to a star plus heroine who has no option left but cry? This Mahi has nothing to offer, I just hate how they butchered her character, now her entire life will be dedicated in making her saas happy, just wow
Sikka-Roma, beautiful conversation, I did not expect to feel bad at their state but i did., the way Roma said that 'Somewhere some unlucky soul will always mourn and suffer at your misery and never let you suffer alone', that had my heart, that is what true love is, her love for Sikka is more than is visible in her eyes and she does know that he cannot be hers, it was evident that she knows he will never acknowledge her in public and she is okay with it, she does not even want it, she just wants him to be happy.
Feedi-Roma, the hide and seek continues and keep getting more interesting, she will heal him first and lead him to heal his own love, I just wonder whether Farhad knows about Taimoor or not.
Farhad entering the shrine, the scenario which was promoted heavily and which did not disappoint at all, should I say that the moment he knelt down and touched taht floor and was trying to react, it gave me goosebumps. Also, the ice cold face, not a single facial muscle moved by his eyes visibly moist and confused and drowned in misery looking at the saint laughing at his face, for him the scenario was surprising, he could have taken it either as a strange encounter or as a mockery, but the saint knew that why he is here, the saint knew that he was here to find a healing, not for himself but for someone else. Hashim Nadeem has not convinced me yet on why Farhad deserved it, he did not ask for any of it, he did not even ask for a fairy tale princess when he was in lahore, then why would his fate be so miserable and cruel that he had to lose his sanity, go mute, forget the love of his mother, mourn on a pathetic case of being fooled on into a more pathetic friendship that turned into love/worship? Why? In reality boys who ruin themselves over women, they do it because they never get attention, but Farhad has women throwing at himself, literally, he would get any girl, but he had to fall for the one who neither loved him, nor mourned his absence, did not even care when she broke his heart and only lost it when she herself faced a tragedy? What kind of scenario is this? Why do I believe that love has to be so unfair? If he dies or Mahi dies at the end, it will only mean, falling in love leads you to death or to the lifelong guilt and suffering of losing your beloved.
Minor details, Farhad already wore the bead as his tanweez and is hiding it, not flaunting it, the thread on his neck was visible, he has worn Mahi as his tanweez. Ishq e haqiqi it is ..🥳
