I’m not Indian so I have little to no exposure outside Bollywood songs. It’ll be nice to venture out.

ARR is still churning great music in Tamil movies, not sure why BW is not using him much😕

I think Vaan was so beautifully shot! I can't even mull about the thrills I got when I heard Jugni. Sarattu is fun too.

Well, ARR is just too good to be true. The lousy BW INDUSTRY obsessed with crass music and lyrics don't deserve him.

So true!! Every song in the movie is so beautifuly picturised.. Watched the movie for the songs and fell in love with the movie itself!! ❤️❤️

Yep & once it’s gone it honestly doesn’t come back. KHKT went down from the 90th episode. Here it was around the same time. Except we got less of ShiVi due to pre-leap episodes.

Musings before the break of the Dawn:

Well, I am going back to a scene that rocks a little low on my favourite list, but it does mean a lot in terms of dynamics. The scene I am referring to is Dev being all tired with lipstick impressions on his face post his SR. That scene was meant to be hilarious, but a lot was going on between Shiva and Dev.

Dhara awkwardly asked him to take a bath; Gaumbi and Hardik were grinning while Krish made this hilarious comment about his sleepless night.

Amidst all this was Shiva, clearly furious about the tea and retorts to calling Dev as insensitive moving on in his life while everything else around him is shattered.

I love the contrasts of the scene in Shiva’s mind. Here he was Rejected, hated and above all, his family being in the doldrums because of Dev’s mistakes. It irked him and perhaps punched him hard about his own life.

What I miss the most are Dev-Shiva conflicts. It seems pretty disjointed to see them both in great harmony with each other. The underlying tension between Shiva and Dev made for a great sibling vibe which the show Makers ignored.

Siblings don't always mean singing YKB. There are a lot of things that flow between them. Dev-Shiva conflict mellowing down just killed an entire exciting competition In the show.

There was a lot to be removed, but somehow, the makers love Dhara slow walks, food and kitchen drama, Weird camera angles with Anita rather than subtle nuances and real issues.

@Bold Yes! Honestly I feel like the way you describe what went wrong or the “could have beens” with regards to this show really closely resembles what I had I mind when I started watching. I binged and caught up around the time of the kidnapping track. What I was looking forward to the most after the wedding was Dev-Shiva’s conflict, Dev-Raavi’s awkwardness, the tension and intensity between ShiVi, Rishita’s lack of understanding about their childhood, etc... emotions that go beyond what they are showing now. Where each frame has one stopping to wonder what is truly going through each character’s mind. I expected more scenes between Dev-Raavi-Shiva but the writers clearly steered far away from there. Like I said before, erasing the Dev chapter in Raavi’s life almost made so many moments and emotions appear meaningless. It’s as if we are starting a completely new story. I just felt a huge disconnect there.

And aside from the Raavi factor, there is so much more than could have been explored between Dev & Shiva. Their very different personalities, Shiva constantly warning his brother before the wedding & Dev paying no heed, the consequences, the fact that Shiva is expected to behave a certain way but the rules change for Dev, etc... Sibling relationships are complex. YKB doesn’t even touch the tip of it.
