@Bold Yes! Honestly I feel like the way you describe what went wrong or the “could have beens” with regards to this show really closely resembles what I had I mind when I started watching. I binged and caught up around the time of the kidnapping track. What I was looking forward to the most after the wedding was Dev-Shiva’s conflict, Dev-Raavi’s awkwardness, the tension and intensity between ShiVi, Rishita’s lack of understanding about their childhood, etc... emotions that go beyond what they are showing now. Where each frame has one stopping to wonder what is truly going through each character’s mind. I expected more scenes between Dev-Raavi-Shiva but the writers clearly steered far away from there. Like I said before, erasing the Dev chapter in Raavi’s life almost made so many moments and emotions appear meaningless. It’s as if we are starting a completely new story. I just felt a huge disconnect there.

And aside from the Raavi factor, there is so much more than could have been explored between Dev & Shiva. Their very different personalities, Shiva constantly warning his brother before the wedding & Dev paying no heed, the consequences, the fact that Shiva is expected to behave a certain way but the rules change for Dev, etc... Sibling relationships are complex. YKB doesn’t even touch the tip of it.

Sometimes I feel the same way too! Just sticking around for the actors and a little hope that they will turn things around.

They showed few things in the OG like Jeeva-Mullai’s awkwardness (we have to remember that he apologized to both Mullai and Kathir), Meena’s lack of understanding of their childhood and brothers bonding.

I believe the chudail kaand and batwara ruined some of the essence. Bad move on the part of the writers to deviate so much from the crux of the story😕

the makers could have still saved the show by making dhara/GauRa give SHiSh the silent treatment after their chudail prank. They could have shown how ShiSh worked along with Dev to win back GauRa's trust! It would have been a beautiful track with a lot of scope for improved family relationships.

At the end, Dhara could have actually deserved the credit she would inevitably get for keeping the family together

The beating, followed by batwaara and dhara turning psychotic was uncalled for and unnecessary. It ruined multiple characters

Can we see some characters who do not belong to the Pandya family (extended family included) once they return to set 😆

i have no hopes for characters outside the extended family. I will just be happy if we get Jaanu, Motiben and Kaka 😆
