it was indeed a beautiful shot! When they filmed from above, the place looked magical. It gaves me some reassurance that they still can create beautiful shots.

For the first time, they catch a glimpse of each other without awkwardness of Pati-Patni! From Raavi dissing Shiva on their wedding night about how they cannot be together to a passive existence of a relationship both didn’t imagine themselves to be in. -They have come a long way.
Suman has been great with her advices till date for Shiva and Raavi! Most of the critical changes in their relationship are so beautifully guided by Suman, contrary to the whining, chiding and forcing of Dhara. Suman carries her years well, and I guess she has a massive weakness for Shiva. He being her spitting image in temperament. Honestly, despite her hideous patriarchal approach, Suman sounds so much saner to me than Dhara.

1. Marriage Ashirwaad: Suman asks Shiva to keep Raavi like a delicate doll. Keep her happy. She thanks Shiva for keeping up to his father's pride. To Raavi, she is speechless, just says, I wish nothing but happiness. No guided forcing about Shiva and her new life blah blah

2. Mandir Darshan-Instead of reprimanding Raavi for staying behind, she asks her to keep up her pace the next time.

3. Kidnapping MU-She rants but not even once scolds Raavi directly for badmouthing Shiva. She explains the Love of Family and The respect They shall Always give her. The choice of leaving was given to her.

4. Chain scene-She gives a life lesson about how the husband-wife fall and hold each other.

5. Post-Khandahar Kand Ashiwad-Both of you become husband and wife.

6. Dining Table-Kam-jyada food example to nurture Husband wife relationship.

Now, if you compare all this with Dhara and her whining, crying and drama, it was all about forcing

Main Tujhe Lise Nahi Dekh Sakti... And Tu kapde Kyun Nahi Dhoti... Etc.

That's why my hatred for Dhara. She has a saviour complex, and she thinks whatever she is doing is for her welfare. I wish Dhara's actions were not justified.

Compare this to this: Suman still seems MIGHTY pissed.

Suman really shows what an actual mother/ saas is! And she does speak with a lot of experience.

Apart from Shiva I feel she has her special place in her heart for Raavi as well. She doesn't view her from the angle of being someone related to her enemy, Prafulla, unlike her son. Moreover, I think Raavi is the only daughter in law she has accepted from the word go, she has seen her grow up in front of her and her ages of experience tells her how pure Raavi is.

For Dhara, she still calls her Bhagodi ki beti, she was not her choice for Gautam.. and Rishita is herself bhagodi and definitely not her choice.

Raavi should have been sitting at the table with them or in her room sleeping with Shiva mentioning he’ll take some food for her later (Krish could have teased a bit and maybe even mentioned the kachori thing too). This could have led to Shiva’s solo scene later on where he thinks back about his concern for Raavi and how scary it was to almost lose her.

In either case, they could have shown Rishita serving and making up for her pehli rasoi (just for the sake of tradition or to show she deserves her own temple in the future). Her giving Dev some attention while Raavi & Shiva eat in silence/share a few awkward lines (if they take the first route). Gaumbi could have whispered to Dhara that he has something important to discuss with her and they could have gone from there.

Esha, you and @Transference should consider applying for the Pandya Store scriptwriter positions and change the storyline (I don't dare to since I would end the show early and they would fire me 🤣)

Here are some of the lost moments we could've had with your scenes:

For ShiVi

Table Serving Scene

-Shiva could've noticed the limp. Turn to her, grab her hand in an attempt to make her sit down. However, she visibly winces and he immediately lets her go. Half regretting he was the cause of her pain again and that she was still visibly hurt.

Bedroom Scene

-Shiva could've glanced over at Raavi infrequently as he had thoughts of her close to dying. We could've seen the heart wrenching pain in his eyes. Maybe he could lean over to gently touch her hand to confirm whether she was there with him, and in doing so notices a cut so he gets a first aid box and silently applies ointment to her hand. Raavi wakes up the next day and sees the ointment with a strange sense of relief and happiness (actually happens to Pandian Stores between KM so it wouldn't be out of the ordinary)

For Rishita

-While serving everyone, she nervously serves Suman because despite receiving a blessing, she is still unsure and afraid, but Suman merely nods her head when Rishita serves the food as a silent approval--making Rishita look over at Dev with happiness

On a side note, saw a few peeps noting Shiva’s hesitance during the Pandya family team hurrah 😆

I honestly thought it was KD waiting for his turn to put his hand there and wasn’t sure if someone else wanted to go first😆 maybe someone was yelling cues or they had no specific order so it was confusing 😆

I did notice during the hug, Raavi’s head was in Dev’s arms 😆 Dhara caressed Gaumbi’s cheek while Dev held both Rishita & Raavi. Why on earth was Shiva on the other side 🤣

Aww thank you 🤗 But looks like you’ll get the job before us & they def won’t fire you 😆 This is just perfect Even the Rishita scene! I love the first one you have. Where he tries to help but lets go when she is hurt! They could have addressed both the physical and emotional trauma. So many emotions! And the bedroom moment Ahh love this!!

All this accidental romance between Raavi and Dev makes me wonder if they actually will go down the route of Trembling Shiva (because he is used to Raavi's anger and taunts, not Raavi's glazed and loving looks) and Dev being confused as he just woke up from a nap and wants to hug wifey, but not sister-in-law also dresses like wifey 🤣🤣 I always find the show 10,000 times better in the morning since I find reasons to snark...

I agree with alot of what you all said. Logic is just being thrown out from every direction now.

This show is very typical when it comes to bahu's and their role. The women are and can be strong, but let's face it they get reduced and praised for washing clothes and making food by their own family, and they nod along.

But I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy the dining room scene. It's the ShiVi fan in me I reckon. That eye contact at the end was so subtle - they said nothing but understood alot in that moment. I want the awkwardness between them before they eventually talk about what happened, I want self reflection before they do too. It might be coming and I'm a complete FOOL to believe it is 😕.
