Fateh's father

Of all the parent figures present in the show, Fateh's father seems to be the most mature and sensible person. Though he is projected as an insensitive and strict father , he isn't.

Even though he never liked Jasmine he went ahead and accepted her inspite of his gut telling him she isn't the right girl. His scene at the hospital , showed how much he cared for his son ,even though he hardly made it surface.

Today again he was the voice of reasoning. When everyone is either taunting Tejo or crying , he made Fateh understand how wrongly he was treating Tejo. Not only this he even told him dt a marriage has many aspects .....respect for each other being a must.

Most importantly he made an impression on him when he called out Fateh and Jasmine's love as being entirely selfish. It is but the truth. Both Fateh and Jasso 's love were selfish. They only care abt who or what they love , everything and everyone else was secondary to these two . And true love can never be selfish.

Yes virk senior is hands down the best senior character on the show..

He is always the voice of reason, never let his emotions go out of control and is an excellent judge of character...

I am having a feeling that he will the biggest supporter of tejo in coming days..
