One thing that struck me was when reading Twitter someone had mentioned that currently Imlie is reacting more than driving her own life. Currently her decisions have always been centered around other decisions and what they want. Imlie has been made reactive in the last two months to prop up Didi....but otherwise Imlie has needed catalysts many times to make a decision too....when did she go back to her village to study? lol she was missing Adi the whole time she was there😆.....just cuz she claims to do something for a reason isn't the whole truth. She went back to her village cuz she was hurt by Adi telling her to marry someone else.....all the times that Imlie has decided to focus on herself/her studies has still had an underpinning of her yearning for Adi. She is a strong girl who can survive on her own, yes....but that does not mean that she doesn't still want to be with Adi.

Her main problem is that she is so used to denying herself a lot of things because she feels they may hurt someone else or that she doesn't deserve them for whatever reason, she won't admit what her real choice is unless she is pushed to admit it.

So Adi's ultimatum is that push for her right now.....otherwise she will never admit to his face that it is her choice to be with him. Every other time he's asked her, she's deflected it as SM ki marzi se mila rishta....she has never directly answered his question about whether she CHOOSES to and WANTS to be with him......so getting her to answer that question is not taking a choice away from her....it is about revealing her truth.

Anyways I agree with you whole heartedly about every point.. imlie has always been an independent girl who has made her choice and decisions on her own.. yes the outside forces have had the influence yet the call has been hers .. be it her leaving or coming back it was not caz adi asked her too rofl uske saath na aa jaati phir.. woh itna dejected kyon waapis aaya tha and uske paas kyon na aayi yeh ohir...she came caz sure she missed him it was hell to be without him so Delhi was a bit closer fhen PD but not caz he said it.. neither did she leave for that.m she left caz it hurt her on another level that adi insulted her and her belief and failed to understand her not caz she preferred to study at PD lol

I guess they mean the bit with Adi making her come back to his house from the hostel during Holi?

But despite the appearance, none of that really happened without Imlie’s choice being involved. She was the one who laid the conditions for her return most of the time 😆.....She keeps leaving the house, yes 😆....and Adi always chases her down but she never returns without her marzi actually being involved.

All Adi wants is that she admit the choice that already shows in her eyes for him 😆. There is no compulsion here.

Brilliant post AY. Thanks for the pics too. Aaj ka episode was fantastic. I did not feel a moment of boredom. First five mins or so were pure gold. Just get Adi and Imlie interact and every episode is a brilliant for me 😆.

Malini didi ne har jagah aatank phailake rakha hai and her two favorite victims today are Dev and Imlie. Not necessarily in that order.

Generally t-house mein koi BS ko paani ke liye bhi na puche. BS and unke issues ko itna ignore karte hai sab log ki cluesless adi ko bhi pata hai ki unki koi value nai hai ghar pe. Par yeh sab imliya ke wajah se badal gaya. Ek baar BS ne t-fam ke saath haste gaate hue dance kya kar liya, they started treating him like he's actually part of the family. And that too at the most inconvenient times!

Aaj t-breakfast pe fam was very happy as pyaari bahu M ghar "visit" karne aarahi thi. Yeh news sunke Adi ka chehra utargaya 😆. And imlie ke toh haath pair kaapne laggaye and woh saare parathe nishant ko serve karne laggayi. BK notices this and does a quick calculation.

no. of paratha imlie is serving per person * no. of people she needs to cross before she reaches him = No paratha's for him 😆.

He concludes that Imlie is dazed because of fever and must go rest. Aparna concurs and they send her off to rest. Adi ne imlie ke saare lakshan notice kiye and accurately diagnose kiya ki what imlie is suffering from is "terror" and that he needs to console her. Thus began his quandary. And my favorite scene of the episode. How will he go to imlie's room??

Pehle toh sabko guilt mein dekha and decide kiya ki nai aur jhoot nai bolunga. And isiliye samne padi hui mirch utake khane laggaya. Aparna is shocked and concerned that aditya is eating mirchi. Maa ka pyaar hai na. Jab Malini aas paas nai hai toh Adi pe barastha hai. She asks him drink water. But naii.. Adi babu ko toh juice chahiye tha 😆 woh bhi fridge mein rakha hua 😆. Then Aparna tries to ask sundar to get the juice. Aditya says nai its okay i will get it. Papa T is like zidd mat kar beta; And then Adi snaps😆. And says my favorite dialogue of the day:

"Aap kyu zidd kar rahe hai. Sundar kyu layega humara juice?? Hum khud layenge. Aap please hume DOMINATE mat kijiye lol.Humara ghar hai. Hum adult hai aur hume jaana hai aur juice peena hai lol. Aur hum juice peeke ayenge na."

Even after Adi's outburst, BK tries to offer adi jalebi. Aditya says zid mat kijiye.i want only the orange juice in fridge.Bye.

Family for once notices that his behavior is weird.

That is what is hilarious. Imlie has never even told her that Adi has done injustice to her by marrying Didi. She has not shared any of her problems with her. So pata nahi phir Didi ko kyu lag raha hai ki Imlie needs saving?

What makes it extra hilarious is the situations for which Didi is trying to play savior.

Adi-Imlie don't need her permission to nibhaao their love for each other - especially since they are already married😆....but it stokes Didi's ego to feel that SHE can "hand over" Adi to Imlie to make it up to Imlie😆. Koi Adi se bhi puchh lo ki jo already apne aap ko Imlie ka declare kar chuka hai, usko Didi kya hand over karegi?😆

Yeh sab galat fehmi ko Imlie ne hi badhava diya hai. Didi anyways thinks that she has the right to hand over Adi but Imlie's declaration about her moving on with BS only after confirming Didi is happy with KC has inflated this delusion more. Otherwise Didi toh clearly knows ki Adi loves Imlie & wants to be her husband now. Ye 2 facts Adi has made very clear to her. But then also Didi wants to display her mahanta in handing over Adi to Imlie as if Adi already has not chosen Imlie😆.

And then yes, Imlie-Mithi....ROFL neither of them asked for any haqs regarding Dev....neither of them want to be a Chaturvedi but Didi has taken it upon herself ki unko Chaturvedi naam dilvaa ke rahegi😕😆....once again proving that Malini is incapable of really hearing the person in front of her....she lives in her own head, decides on behalf of people without taking their feelings/decisions into account and coats it all in the guise of "saving" them.....lol....cuz in her own pea-brain, she alone knows how to save everyone😆.

Neither Meethi nor Imlie have ever shown her that they want their rights from the loser who left them. But Didi ko hi zabardasti mahanta karni hai. Their choice & all doesn't matter for her. She just wants to be their saviour.

But then we all know ki karne pe aayegi toh kuch hoga nahin....lol she can't even save Imlie from her own mom.....and aage bhi, she will be telling herself ki maine Imlie ko pati de diya, maine Imlie ko papa de diye....but neither are hers to give really😆.

Oh we have seen her ineffectiveness in actually stopping her mom countless number of times. So I had no doubt that she would fail now too😆. Agree that neither Adi nor her dad are hers to give to Imlie. DC was her dad since she was born & Adi was chosen for her by destiny. So whatever story she wants to spin, we know what the real truth is😆.

But yeah all this Papa ka sach mania has atleast temporarily put a pause on Didi ke twisted meethi chhuri taunts about Adi to Imlie😆.....I'm just finding her single minded determination to play "big sister" to Imlie pretty funny right now cuz it's looking like she's play acting again😆.....jaise officially label mil gaya since it's proved they are blood related toh Didi is like ab toh main badi behen banke dikhaaungi😆....meanwhile Imlie is like umm but main toh already aapko badi behen maanti thi toh ismein naya kya hai?😆

Didi is definitely play acting at being a big sister now. Right now she wants to be the saviour but watch her become jealous if DC actually accepts Imlie as his daughter. Her jealousy rears its ugly head as soon as DC or Adi defend or show concern for Imlie & that I think is not going to change any time soon.

Imlie is very confused about this sudden deluge of sisterly love from Didi. She already treats her like she would treat her own sister. So I do not think that there would be any drastic change in Imlie's behaviour towards Didi after knowing the truth as well. In fact she will get turned off by DC as well & she already doesn't like AC at all. So no, I don't think she is ever going to accept to be a part of Loservedis. Plus she already has her Amma & Dadda as her parents who actually love her & jo uspe jaan chidakte hai. So why would she even care for the Loservedis?😆

For a long time, many of us have dreaded that Imlie will be reduced to needing Didi's permission to accept Adi....so I would like it if the makers pleasantly surprised me on this front and after all the Didi jaap they've subjected us to, they manage to show Imlie choosing her Babusahib of her own free will rather than needing Didi ka permission😛😆

I am very happy after seeing the new promo. It is finally the time where Imlie actually shows that she cares for Adi above all.

Adi is the center of Imlie's universe & that is plain hard fact. It is just that Imlie doesn't let this overshadow everything else in her life. But at crucial times, when it actually matters, Imlie's decision all are based on Adi himself. Whatever reason she may give but subconsciously everything is about staying with Adi. If Adi cannot stay away from Imlie, neither can Imlie stay away from him.

Currently due to her guilt about Didi's heartbreak Imlie is holding herself from fully accepting her relationship with Adi. Adi has been very patient with her I believe, even more than the viewers. So now that Didi might show them KC, why should Adi-Imlie wait for being together?

I think the makers are going to pleasantly surprise us by showing Imlie choosing Adi over Didi on her own. I do hope that happens. After today's epi, my hope for this is increasing because as I mentioned in one of my posts today Imlie prioritised Adi's wish for her to leave the hospital over Didi's wish for her to stay. She is already accepting Adi's saath & is started the process of not giving into Didi's every wish because of her guilt & regard for her.

Imlie's Didi Jaap is not going to end but she will clearly prioritise Adi over Didi. I don't think so her knowing the truth about DC being her father will make her feel more sisterly feelings towards Didi as she already gives her highest regards as a sister.

So now when Adi will give her the ultimatum, she will definitely choose Adi as she is already rejected Adi many times before. As you said they are already on alag raah's from each other. Now it is time that they walk the same path.

I don't think Imlie will ever accept Chaturvedis ka name. I also hope she rejects Didi's proposal by telling her that she is already a Tripathi😛. That would be so entertaining😆.

This is Imlie's selfless nature coming into picute The very thing due to which Aditya fell for her is now a detriment for him to give her the full haq that she deserves. On the flip side, her selfless nature is why she is able to win the hearts of the T's again and has Malini ready to give her that haq that she so deserves. Ironically, even though everybody is on one side and asking her to accept her happiness because she cannot do it on someone else dukh. This is because she is seen her own mother in that state and hence she does not want to be responsible for giving the same dukh to a person that she has seen her whole life. Its not that Imlie does not want to accept Aditya, its just that a lifetime of witnessing the pain of her own mother is coming into play here. Hence she wants Malini to be happy so she is guilt free to accept her choice and be happy like she deserves to be.

Malini -Mithi meetup was the setup for Malini to do the sacrifice and pay for the sins that her father has committed and to right the wrong that has been done to Imlie for which is indirectly responsible.

Yes, since he promised her during the second PD trip, he has always given her the choice. Yes, he cajoled, threatened, requested, but ultimately it has always been her choice even when they first got married and even not when she came back. 😆
