Feel like this is a setup to respond to the question of whether Imlie will choose Adi independently of Didi's new plans to "hand over" Adi to her😆.

For a long time, many of us have dreaded that Imlie will be reduced to needing Didi's permission to accept Adi....so I would like it if the makers pleasantly surprised me on this front and after all the Didi jaap they've subjected us to, they manage to show Imlie choosing her Babusahib of her own free will rather than needing Didi ka permission😛😆

Not sure how this fits into the whole "Didi ka ghar basaayenge, toh hi aage badhenge" angle😆.....maybe Adi is feeling emboldened after Didi shows up with KC toh he thinks woh angle has been taken care of and he can start hoping for new life with Imlie again 😆

Baaki I don't expect Imlie's Didi jaap to fully go away also but I do think she will manage to choose Adi in her own way somehow if they are setting up this ultimatum.....already bahut time se "alag raah" chun chuki hai Imlie....ab toh Babusahib ko hi chunegi😆....and that is the bare minimum he deserves after all this time of pleading with her to atleast acknowledge that she loves him😆.

It would be funny if right as Didi is telling Imlie ki tum Chaturvedi ho, Imlie will be like nope, main toh Tripathi banungi....Imlie Aditya Kumar Tripathi😆.

Loved this bit. When I saw the promo the one thing that hit me was the change in Adi from almost a teasing a romantic vibe to a very serious and frustrated one, where he is almost like "That's it". His ultimatum to make a choice worried me for a bit, but then I remembered 2 things - 1. He knows they love each other, he's expressed his love to Imlie many times but she has been holding back on him and it's bound to reach a breaking point....so his "Bas" in this promo seems to be that point....that he's had enough of not factoring into her decisions/choices....and now it's high time she makes a choice about whether or not she wants to be with him.....lol it's just a reiteration of stuff he's said to her before also😆......

Imlie has already been on an "alag raah" for so long.....aur kitna "alag" chunegi?😆.....this is a setup for her to choose him this time on her own....and regardless of what he says, he will not let her go away from him😆.

For now the promo is promising here's hoping the future episodes hold the same promise and this isn't misleading .. but I see a reprive with this as the focus seems to have been shifting back to where it should be

Well she got the marksheet to show for that as well. Something struck me when in one of the other posts it had been mentioned that the marksheet a will make an appearance. I hope that it does before Imlie finds out the truth about DC, coz then the whole point of making her a Chaturvedi becomes moot. Anyways, the promo looks so beautiful and the way he said Imlie Tripathi reminded me of your post where you had mentioned that before becoming a Chaturvedi she was already a Tripathi, rishtey se, man se and swabhav se. Now only she has to finally accept that her destiny and Sita maiyya can never steer her wrong and she rightfully belongs with Aditya by his side to continue to nibhao this rishta as a unit.

Exactly!! This is his way of getting her to acknowledge that he matters which he knows he does but she is trying too hard to hold herself back caz she thinks uski khusiyan nahi hain...kinda twisted way for her own benefit from adi but he knows only this will work on her and yes other than that HIGH TIME he gets to be the priority he deserves that as the partner.. he has been subtly telling her ke rishta dono ka hai .. she cannot alone be in it or making decisions for them he has a say but this is the end of his patience so he gives the ultimatum...the whole point as I see it and have said it earlier too is for imlie to reevaluate her goals and give him the priority and saath he seeks..

Watch the words he still says he has to thamo her haath despite everything it is a definite but she has to pick now.. didi or him priority kya hai..

But rest I agree with.....Imlie is already a Tripathi😆....Adi just wants to make it official publicly now that she is a Tripathi.......Chaturvedi ka fitoor Didi ko hi hai😆. But Imlie's contempt for the Chaturvedi name in the precap makes me hopeful that she will herself laat maaro this even if Didi offers it to her😆......

I really hope they do this. Would love to see her choose him on her own accord rather than because did said so. One thing that struck me was when reading Twitter someone had mentioned that currently Imlie is reacting more than driving her own life. Currently her decisions have always been centered around other decisions and what they want. The one time she decided to go back to her Villiage to study, she landed up having to come back with BS because he said so. I agree her didi jaap is too much and Adi does not deserve to be at the mercy of Malini to move in with his life, but that atleast was Imlie's choice, maybe in someway to help deal with her guilt of Adi choosing her over Malini. But now because of the ultimatum, it feels like that choice is again taken out of her hands, and when she finds out Malini is her sister, that guilt should not affect Imlie and Adi's relationship in the long term.

As if a marksheet will hold Didi back from her "make Imlie a Chaturvedi mission"😆.

Waise bhi that marksheet has been moot since a long time....Imlie already got her college admission done without that becoming an issue....lol and now Malini already knows Imlie is married to Adi....toh marksheet se kya hoga.

Anyways, I do think Imlie herself will reject the C name for multiple reasons😆....AC ki bakwaas and humiliations will factor into her decision too along with ofcourse not accepting Dev as her father.

She will find her way home to the name that was always destined for her....Tripathi😆
