Top 2 Pawandeep and Sawai as per last week's voting.

Even after Arunita's brilliant performances on both days.

Her and Pawandeep's duet was trending on YouTube.

Lets forgot the trending and the fact that she got more songs to perform but still whatever she performed she was the best in last week's episodes.

And she has active voters too.

Do they even know on the basis of which performance they are announcing top 2.

Im not able to understand this.

Sayli got most promising performance award

My opinion about today's performances

Ashish was amazing.. he just rocked jee karda with classical touch

I liked SMP's start and end of the song.

Arunita's tu chanda was mind-blowing.. i was eagerly waiting for her performances it was so beautiful. manoj ji rightly pointed out about lyrics which has core hindi words and Arunita did it perfectly.

I knew that Pawandeep is going to perform well on Kalank his favourite song and he did good job as expected.

Arunita Sayli's man kyun behka was beautiful as usual (heard it again.. loved the 2nd part) and there wasn't tie actually clearly it was better than Danish and Sawai's.

Won't write more about Danish and Sawai's today's performance.

Is this the last week of power play? Is that true? I saw in some YouTube comments but could not see in the real video??

Sunday episode:-

* Ashish was ok. I am not in a position to comment on SMP since I clicked the mute button. Looked like the initial yodelling continued on & on going by her expressions, so decided not to unmute.

* Arunita as usual nailed it. Such a tough iconic song,she did full justice to it. Apart from her voice & perfect sur, this girl never ceases to amaze me with her voice modulations. She deserved that win over pawan. Pawan looked tired, fed up and even indifferent in general, but then I realised this was shot immediately after his quarantine. He was still recovering.

* Though a repeat aru sayli duet was v good and it was better than danish sawai duet.
On an aside -

* The much hyped cake part was reduced to a blink-&-miss moment by the editing team. And pawan just walked through the motions,cake-smeared face and all as if it is an everyday routine. Such an inscrutable monk! Lol

* Did anyone notice Danish’s expression when they announced the duet as a tie?!

Yes. They announced at start of episode that this is the last week of power play.

So what happens next?

Sunday episode

- Ashish: good to watch. The real feelings of the song was missing somehow.

- SMP: what she did is very difficult and praiseworthy but is not my taste.

- Arunita: I am her pagla fan and she was brilliant. The song was not easy and she was able to create the affectionate environment for the song. She is the best among the lot.

- Pawandeep: I liked his performance in this song. It was very nice to listen the song in his voice.

- Arunita-Sayli Duet: Best performance of the episode though it was a repeat song. I love to hear their duets. Arunita has a magical voice and Sayli has a very fresh voice.

- Danish-Sawai Duet: I don't like the style that they followed to perform the song. Danish went mad in doing his so called l-o-n-g aaaaalaaaaps (!!!). At the end it was a mess. Sawai completed the song but Danish could not understand and continued his aaaaaaaaaa. I really doubt whether it was a duet. There was no coordination, no understanding between them.

Shocked to know the top 2 voted contestants. I have reasons not to believe the declaration based on last week's performance.

Good to know the powerplay will be ended this week at last.

To me, the girls team of SMP, Arunita, Sayli and Anjali was far better than the boys team!!!

Finally, Arunita rocks!!!! 😃

• NIHAL was amazing n sayali too tried something really very different n difficult n did pretty well
• Anjali should have won ! She was next level on alaps man! N actually this time she sounded so better n was able to induce feel in the song , danish , actually liked him since he was in his true form today n these kind of songs suit his voice (mostly all Punjabi)
• Then sawai n Arunita , the song given to sawai was soo good for his voice but here I would like to make a point he shouldn't have started screaming as his competitor Arunita was also singing a soft song n if he sticked on low notes he would have won but now it looks fake as Arunita was Better
• ASHISH KULKARNI rocked it on stage n all those sargams were mind-blowing , I liked the fact he didn't scream in the song like any other contestants n my fav moment when everyone lifted AK 🤩 but sadly PD was missing the whole time AK sang ? Donno what happened??!!?
• SMP was also really good n her variations always amazes me but AK should have won
• Then mere pyare ARUDEEP :
• 1) the song selection by both was top notch n was done in relevance to what the other is going to sing 👌 a really good approach
• 2) TU Chanda was mesmerising and kalank had a deep serenity in it 🤩
• 3)What to say about the singers man! They both did soo good (both songs were very difficult , difference is of the timeline only n the fact that both songs had so many variations in singing (again intelligent work done in the song selection 👌))
• 4)This should have been a tie rather than Anjali n Danish 🙄
• 5)I couldn't choose a winner from these 2 😆
• Lastly the duets
• 1) it's a fact that arunita's n sayali's voice blends soo well you can't differentiate between the two
• 2) this time I feel sawai op Danish with his voice
• 3) both duets were good but idk y I didn't find anything extraordinary in it as compared to Thier solo performances (they were on another level only)

Judgement by my ears m no expert

29th Of May 2021 and 30th of May 2021 Boys verses Girls competition:

Pawandeep Rajan, Nihal Tauro and Sanmukhapriya could not win the contest because of Low Scores. Votes plus Judges score, can save or can not save these three contestants because now powerplay game is over. I liked some performances of Nihal. I did not enjoy the performances of Pawandeep and sanmukhapriya.

I hope that Pawandeep Rajan due to his high votes (number one in votes) can be treated as safe if next week again, he gets highest votes, otherwise, Pawandeep Rajan will be in danger zone next week.

Next appproximate assumption : Ashish and sayli are not getting enough votes, so, Ashish kulkarni and Sayli Kishore Kamble have chances to stay in danger zone next week. If they get good votes, then, sayli and ashish both are safe because both are winners in contest.

According to my opinion, Pawandeep Rajan can not get votes more than Sawai Bhatt but if show makers want him in the competition, then, it is ok.

Arunita Kanjilal: won one contest (pawan lost the game) but Arunita lost one contest (Sawai won), so 1 minus 1 is equal to zero. Chances are not brilliant to stay in the competition but all depends upon further votes and scores. I could not connect myself with the performances of Arunita Kanjilal.

Mohd. Danish and Anjali Gaikwad contest. It was tie but actually it was not tie because Anjali Gaikwad is the best performer of the day. I never enjoyed the performances of Danish.

Danish is getting less votes, so it is not feasible to predict. Danish may be in top 6 or no ?

Sawai bhatt is winner in the contest plus Sawai is getting highest votes, then, Sawai Bhatt will be winner. Sawai Bhatt is the best in Indian Idol season 12.

Anjali Gaikwad is getting high votes plus Anjali is the best performer of the day. I hope that Anjali Gaikwad may be winner.Best performer mean Anjali is number one in the latest episode. I hope that now in all coming episodes, Anjali would be number one or in top 2. Anjali Gaikwad is one of the best classical singer and future of classical music industry of India. Anjali gaikwad already won some competitions in her childhood.

Conclusion: There may be six finalists ( Two winners and four runners up). I guess that all nine contestants may get some prize. Two winners for me are Sawai Bhatt and Anjali Gaikwad.
