What a beautiful, light-hearted episode it was. I can't thank the casting directors enough for giving us Ayesha as Sai. She excels in portraying a light-hearted, chirpy yet vivacious 18 years old. Not just limited to today but I love her when she is given light-hearted scenes. Today her mimicking Pakhi was excellent. It was hilarious indeed. Virats reaction was cherry on top. After that her running around searching for a gift with a childish innocence was too good. Most of the time actors overdo when they have to act younger to their original age- Ayesha never does. She is so natural. You can see a childish innocence in her. At the same time, she brings out a nervous, shy Sai while Virat is flirting or when she's overwhelmed with emotions. The transition from an energetic 18YO to a courageous, righteous woman is so smooth. I love her man.
Later Kaku- Sai scene was also beautiful. They should give more SS to kaku- Sai. Kishori maam and Ayesha have such beautiful understanding on screen. Their scenes turn out so well be it banters or arguments. The way she said Vaha pe toh Pakhi didi baithe ho was hilarious. I want to see more of their bonding Now that Bhavani is almost whitewashed hoping one day we get Kaku- Sai bond too
Given that she is a newbie she is performing so well with Veterans like Neil, Kishori maam etc. She has shown improvement from day 1 and that's dedication to her craft. I was someone who initially thought she cant pull off scenes well with Neil but glad she proved me wrong. She's matching up to Neil effortlessly when they are in a scene together. I was disappointed with her dialogue delivery initially but she has improved tremendously. Even after being a Delhite she makes sure not to have the typical north Indian accent. Still, there's scope for improvement but Ayesha you are a rising star. The nuances she brings to Sai are such a delight. I can't think someone else plays the role to perfection.
Ayesha, thanks for breathing life to Sai Joshi. Your hard work and dedication show. You have a bright future ahaed.
