No no, there are different types of obsessive love too. Like theres the dangerous type where you are ready to do anything to gain that person, even ruin that persons life intentionally. Here Farhad seems helpless, hes obsessed in the sense that he cant get her out of his mind or accept her being someone elses. But he never intended to ruin her life intentionally.

Fake love is actually more common than real love and is shown in 90% dramas. Mostly Geo wale.

@bold: I disagree again, he wasn't struggling to accept that she will be someone else's, his struggle was more like he was deluded enough to believe that Mahi would accept him as her partner. I do not think Farhad could not accept T and Mahi's alliance, his issue was more like the reasoning Mahi had to choose T over him. He is not obsessed, getting he rout of his mind is not possible because she is his first, and it ended ugly, so any human would struggle with this situation.

Mujhe ab Geo ke saare heroes obsessive lagte hain...every other show revolves around a lover either kidnapping, forcefully marrying, chasing after a girl😆

No not pretending...but I dont find aaj kal ka love as pure as it should be...like I know these dramas are based on reality, aur reality mein bhi to aaj kal yahi ho raha hai...couples divorcing/breaking up/falling out of love and moving on within seconds🤢 its disgusting even the way they have normalized kidnapping, blackmail and multiple marriages

I do not think it is disgusting to break up or get divorced with someone if you are not genuinely happy with. Yes, the old school theory is different but things have changed, people used to be shamed for getting divorced or falling out of love, but it is as tragic as losing someone, I feel that everyone has the right to decide to move out of a relationship. It is not a crime, yes, sometimes we choose our partners and then fall out of love, it can happen, it is better to move on than sticking in a loveless marriage/relationship.

Blackmailing, kidnapping is abuse, and being abusive in a marriage is another whole debate, and it is a big NO. Thank fully, till now whichever PTV shows I have watched, none of them had these toxic concepts, even in Khaani Hadi's toxic stalking and kidnapping only leads to an iconic redemption arc which satisfied me as a viewer at the end, so everything was justified.

In case of Hammad (and i have noticed this with a lot of people who come from extremely rich background specially now.), he grew up with a diamond spoon in his mouth, he was a party animal, lived a very extravagant lifestyle, went abroad for studies etc etc. Basically he had all the materialistic pleasures in the world and wasnt denied anything at any point. But Imaan in a very symbolic way brought the element of the mystical spiritualism in his life. Her eyes were his pathway to connecting with god. He was so taken by her..not just because of how out of the world, beautiful, she was..but because there was something that was so divine and yet unattainable about her..something that all the riches in the world wouldnt be enough to make up for her.

Imaan and him were never meant to be together..it just wasnt about his love for a girl..but about understanding that beyond all the pleasures, exists the real love and connect - with god and god alone. Shehre zaat also did a good job explaining that from episode 14 onwards.

I am curious to see how Feedi connects with god..through Mahi..I dont think Mahi and Feedi will have a happy ending because khuda aur mohabbat isnt supposed to be a regular lovestory. The biggest issue is obviously the inability to understand why Feedi fell for Mahi and what is Mahi's fault in all of this..but lets see how it progresses further.. i do feel that even Mahi will have her own journey of spirituality along with Feedi.
