Yeah. Thankfully, I joined at the right timeto catch about the cast. I'm not kidding when I say that interview was probably 2+ hours. Must have had some great conversations.

The interviewee was really good too. Very different from the guy who interviewed Kanwar and he just wanted to cross questions off of his list.

Actually there was on live interview of hers yesterday which I happened to watch for a bit. It was surprisingly really good and seemed to go on for a very long time.

Here are few things I learned about the show/actors/relationshipa based on what the interviewer asked:
She hinted that there will be tension from her between GauRa. She's in a place where there are lot of "bad" memories for her. But she also said her character isnt negative like it was before. She said there's already ba lot of drama going on in haveli right now, so her track won't be now. (Strictly my opinion: I feel this will come in play with Suman wanting her as daughter and when Suman learns of Dhara's actions, she may verbally say that she wishes Gaumbi married Anita instead of her, and it may start tenaioj in their life.
Her character was different before, but she loves how it's nice now. She said she didn't expect there to be her story after leap, but was glad with her story with Hardik. Now she's like because of Covid, things have been shifted, so that angle is open, bit for her track the focus will probably be her being back to the place where her life turned upside down and being around GauRa.
The actress is pretty wise and I really liked how she thinks, respects everyone and wise things she said about CoVID situation going around. One time when interviewer asked to talk about the camaraderie between the cast she said all nice things and how much she's close to Divya as she's like support system to everyone there and not just kinshuk! ❤️ Can't remember how the conversation started, but she said something about how she doesn't believe in talking bad about anyone. If you don't have nice things to say then you shouldn't say it a all, so she'll only speak good things of everyone.
Here's the part that may interest some of you as that has been point of wonder for many lately. Later interviewer asked her to reveal secret about each actors that's not know. She's got nice things to say about everyone. Akshay's probably like many of us. Lol she said she made him exercise with her one day and he complained about ab pain for 4 days and went off to eat whatever. (She seems to be very health conscious and seems to have been raised that way). Simran is so cute and straight forward, but way matured than her characcha and respects everyone. Shiny will eat anything (e.g. street food or anything. And not conscious like celebs), Kinshuk is mastikhor (unlike Gaumbi), Alice is a sweeasweet and how she loves to sleep. She's like "today while they were eating breakfast she took 4 quick 5 minutes naps. She falls asleep anywhere and they have to drag her."😆 But if someone says anything drastic, she'll wake with a jault with 😲 expression. She also said she says "Awww" alot to everything, so when everyone talks to her, they react to her in similar way. (Awww) Oh and she shares her room (i think makeup room) with Alice here. She said Alice is also pretty straight forward person. Kanwar jokes about everything. Sometimes his jokes are bad that you'd want to run away, and sometimes he'll joke with you embarrassing you. Lol, she's like he may pick someone to joke about and how everyone wishes it's not their turn to be embarrassed that day.😆 Mohit is baba. He has knowledge about everything, and so sometimes he has comments on everything. Lol she's like they tell him "tu phir bola". 😆 But she said unlike Krish, he actually says very wise things and makes you really think about what he said. ❤️ For Mami she spoke mainly from professional level and how good she's as an actress, and how much she enjoys her scenes with her. She said they used to share room, but didn't elaborate much. For the secret she's like"she's the same off-screen as she is on-screen)😂. Not sure if that meant as a hint for what may have happened and they're no longer following each other on IG). Kritika is very adventurous and will go off exploring anywhere. She's like Kritika is the only women her age after her own mother who she knows to be that fit and active. She had really nice things to say from personal level actors who played Mama and her dad pre-leap). And Divya's like a soul sister and all the things she did for her. She's like Divya's the most missed person right now and how she cried when Divya was leaving the last time. ❤️So lol, she spoke on personal level about everyone except one. Whenever there are plans to meet up, everyone's invited/notified, if they have availability from shooting, they'll go. But also said that Alice, Simran, and her are types of people who also enjoy their "me time". So no one's like compelled to do things together, but everyone is included in everything so no one feels left out.
Lol that interview was so long, I wish it was saved. I joined again for couple minutes after an hour and they were talking more about her character, but I didn't have time to listen in. Too bad it wasn't saved. I'd love for us to have this kind of live session/interview with Alice/Kanwar.

The cast is all fine offscreen and touchwood they share the same bond always

Tears are something that are very hard to ignore, but other aspects like hunger, craving for something, etc. come with time. He probably was never in a state where he inquired about someone's hunger, so it probably didn't even strike him that he had to ask or worry beyond giving her the money to eat whatever it was she desired. Quite honestly, at least he gave his wife money and told her to eat what she wanted outside, Dev didn't even do that despite being in "love" with Rishita for 2 years.

As for Dev, he continues to be a disappointment. Shiva's characterization has been so strong. The few flaws in his character can be overlooked as it makes sense in the story. However, Dev seems to be wobbly all over. He is a fine brother, but he lacks the basic needs of apologizing. It took him 5 days to realize that he needed to apologize while it took his brothers the same night to apologize to him. He is an alright husband. He knows how to calm down his wife, but he doesn't know one thing about taking care of her needs beyond hugs and kisses. He doesn't know that romance includes non-physical acts as well, such as eating your wife's toast regardless of how you feel about it, or taking the initiative to make sure your wife is well fed. Dev ate whatever Dhara cooked, but did he even stop to ask what Rishita ended up doing? The poor girl stared at the food afterwards...

While in the initial episodes I actually didn't realize many deeper truths in this family, post Dhara Danda Maar there's so many things coming to light for me.

Today's episode actually was the first one where I began thinking about Oedipus complexes in light of it all. These brothers have lived all these years with Suman and Dhara as the only points of contact to the female population as far as I can see. All their emotional needs have been met by Dhara and while that's normal when you are younger, true parenting shines when you let your child find their own footing in the world and it's people and let them discover their own individuality. And it's trickier to do this and find a way to assert your own autonomy in a joint family.

So, today's episode also made me think maybe Dev did this in a way, found a girl he liked, whose opinions are starkly different to his own family values and stepped out of the family shadow. It's now that Rishita is back with him in his home that he doesn't know how to proceed further and is instead stuck somewhere just buffering all the time.

For Shiva I would say, even though he is the biggest Dhara bhabhi worshipper, Raavi has always been orbiting around him just as long, so his struggle is more layered. All in all, that scene of them sneakily eating the food, while amusing to me when I first watched it, felt deeply problematic later and I just felt like they were behaving in this troubling man child way. All three of them actually need to find their own wings in the limited courtyard they have since at this point even some things Rishita said are kinda making sense to me actually.

The boys not only seem clueless to function without her. It's okay to be upset, but it's another thing to be clueless. The boys are nothing without their family together. What if they are left alone to fend for themselves; they would stand clueless given their characterization full now.
