I knew he was going to lose his job, just wondering what tantrum would Jasmin throw after knowing this and the scene she creates later on and how exactly do FaTejo end up together.

Tejo and Jasso were dancing in the function. Nimmo comments on Tejo as of how she is enjoying in the wedding when her own marriage broke, which she listens and gets hurt. Fateh cheers her up, but Nimmo sees them together during that moment. Fateh gets a call from the company that he lost his job.

Jasmine will definetly know Fateh losing his job not from him, but from some other source and she will feel cheated, might be the reason for her to run away, plus that baba's prediction will further make her insecure. Most probably Tejo won't let Fateh tell jasmine about all this so that her sister doesn't get hurt. This might create a misunderstanding btw them in future. Also the way these relatives are pointing Fatejo's relationship as being illegitimate, they will definetly force them to get married when Jasmine will run away.

agree with you though jasmine had taken promise from fateh to tell her first if job cancelled but as you said somehow tejo will come to know it or fateh himself will share it with his best friend and she will stop him for sharing with jasso but i guess nimmo machi will do the great job and might be successful to manipulate jasso towards tejo for hiding this. but don't want tejo accept to marry without consent of virk family and fateh
