Role of Astha going Forward?

I am really wondering what will be Astha's role from Kidnapping track onward?

Will she continue to be part of Saberwal clan? Or have back the self-respect part and leave them.... Now that Shaurya is getting trapped into his ignorance towards his affectionate Badi Maa... He has to know in the past that it was never fault of other people for not getting his share of love... His mother tried, his wishful girlfriend tried... But it was always his inability to look beyond manipulation and obsession of badi maa that has failed him...

I don't want Astha to be the one to keep filling in places to unite these two... It should be absolutely on his own... The least Astha can do is tell him how Badi maa has always gotten her way and how Shaan was blackmailed into divorcing Astha... Just to get his brain running...

But I don't want her to stay and do anything more... Or she could be the one to take stronger stand between ShaKhi and try overpowering Devi... As she was the one who once claimed she will never do anything wrong henceforth... But would that mean that everything will be sorted between Shaurya and Astha? I am actually confused with the whole scenario between Astha-Shaurya-Shaan equations and makers plan with it...

This was one of the most important part of the story.The astha shaurya relationship.It is the very reason of the insecurities that shaurya faces .I hope they they do justice to this track in between all this engagement drama .And the relationship between them improves gradually and not overnight.

bold: I think that’s where Kanchan can help him bc there’s too much negativity around him to look past it on his own

I’m a little confused too bc she doesn’t seem as strong as she was in the beginning like she stood up to everyone to get Anokhi an admission into SIAC. She seems softer now but I think it’s a momentary thing

Aastha will surely leave Saberwals and stay separately. As BM is back to her normal self , Aastha will also be back to her old self. Today itself I could see some of her old traits back when Shaan was scolding Aahir.

Aastha will play some role in uniting Shakhi. Especially now when she will come to know that BM has emotionally blackmailed Shaurya she will not be quiet. I don't know why but I was really happy that BM was back to her old self😊. I couldn't take the soft and defeated BM whom we saw the last two weeks.

Shaurya being Shaurya will come out of this mess in his own way. In the process he might understand the real nature of BM and also what his parent's went through because of his BP and BM. If they show this in a gradual way it would be nice instead of him understanding everything one day all of a sudden.

What will be Shaan's reaction to all this drama? Will he be ok for this emotional blackmail of his son?

Same here! I want this whole Shaurya and Astha's relationship to go forward little slow and infact I don't want her to stay in Saberwal house unless Shaan decides to marry her again...

Lol... Shaan will again be confused whether his son loves Shagun or Anokhi..

I think Astha will decide to go back. He son is safe and secure and back to being manipulated by her BM. My opinion is Shaan is not worthy of Astha so there is no reason for her to stay back for him. She can stay and fight for Shaurya's happiness but he has to want it and take action first. One thing that I have always admired about Astha is that she allows everyone to take their own decisions. She puts her perspective through but tries to avoid pushing it on others.

She cares about both her son and Anokhi deeply. With the whole engagement fiasco, she might have doubts about getting Shaakhi together.

As for telling truth, it has to come from someone that Shaurya trusts more than Astha and that is Shaan or Kanchan but will Shaan/Kanchan ever speak up.

The only way Astha will get involved is if either Shaan wakes up from his stupor after seeing Shaurya go insane and Shastha decide to play some semblance of parent to their distraught man-child or Shaurya asks for her help in getting back together with Anokhi but he will have to prove his sincerity to Astha first.

I see the odds of former happening more than latter but so far I have no hope from Shaan.

Less said about aastha Shaan the better; Shaan is probably the most useless character in the history of itv, I don’t recall a single track where he did something meaningful; aastha is following the same route like her husband now. A woman with such a strong voice Has turned totally spineless.

The story is definitely unpredictable in a way that no one knows which character is going to flip and when🤪

I am Totally in a rant mode today after seeing the precap; definitely unpredictable

Why are they Introducing new tracks when they already have so many open ended ones?

I am keeping no expectations even with shakhi story now; so Shaan-aastha or shaurya-aastha-anokhi is even farther away.

I so wish this engagement thing isn’t serious😒

See Kanchan could put across facts to him and Anokhi... She cannot help him think... The way Shaurya has been oscillating between Badi Maa ka pyaar and Anokhi's love is stupid! For once, dude wake up and see through the drama...

You had just started using your brain and jas kidnapping taken that away?? You had put across right questions - What is family doing here? Who is manipulating him? Koi plan chal raha hai... And all that...

Aastha has mellowed so much that I am afraid to keep any expectations from her any more. She started mellowing right after getting shot but some spunk returned when she forced Tej to allow her and Anokhi to see Shaurya. But ever since Devi extended dosti ka haath, she has turned completely ineffective.

I agree with @dramacrazy though that Aastha doesn't force anyone. That is a character trait that has remained intact since the beginning, even the flashbacks. It is like she has a tendency to let it go, (her critics will say giving it up). Perhaps it has something to do with coping with loss. I am certainly overanalyzing but she lost her younger sibling and was learning to let it go. She let go off her rights on Shaurya Shaan and SM too easily instead of staying put and fighting it out. Perhaps she thought her going away would stop the conflicts in the family. It is not like she loved Shaurya and Shaan any less than her parents. Neither is it that she cannot fight. She was repeatedly threatened and humiliated by Ramesh Bhalla and yet she didn't stop fighting for Anokhi. She can answer back to Tej and Devi when required. She took on a goon like Raja so I don't think she was afraid to take on the Sabharwals. Though her decision turned out to be completely wrong.

This time around also I think she will not force Anokhi to fight for Shaurya if Anokhi decides to stay away on knowing about Shaurya's engagement and thinking about her own career. As for Shaurya, I don't know if he will be willing to give her a chance to even speak. She has much less rights and power over Shaurya than over Anokhi. But since she knows that both Shaurya and Anokhi want each other but are forced by circumstances to go different ways, I hope she doesn't let them repeat her own mistake and take some substantial steps to at least make them reconsider their decisions.

Devi is pushing Shaurya away from herself with these manipulations. I believe Shaurya is able to see through her act. But his indebtedness to her will force him to get engaged to Shagun.

I hope Aastha and Shaan are not relegated to the background and become ineffective props like Gayatri who speak but no one listens to them. The Shaan that we are seeing now would have made for an interesting character if we had not seen the previous Shaan. Had Shaan been a more responsible father to Shaurya from the beginning like in the OG, him being opposed to Anokhi would have made more sense. I don't know if after seeing how Anokhi single handedly rescued Shaurya, he will be more accepting towards their relationship.

I am awaiting to see how this whole Badi Maa ka drama turns out... But I really do not see how Astha will be able to support ShaKhi given how deeply Anokhi has been hurt... Just because she kept giving back to Devi does not mean that Anokhi is capable of handling Saberwal toxicity yet!

I mean, C'mon Devi has been providing character certificate just like Shaurya has been doing to not just Anokhi (once) but also Ahir, Astha everyone... And all of this isn't an easy thing to face every now and then! It's stupidest on CVs part to show Astha still trying to bring these two together to be honest...

Shaan, I really fail to see him beyond someone who will be confused and have no role in the story🤣... I have little hope from Astha!
