She puts her perspective through but tries to avoid pushing it on others.

She cares about both her son and Anokhi deeply. With the whole engagement fiasco, she might have doubts about getting Shaakhi together.

As for telling truth, it has to come from someone that Shaurya trusts more than Astha and that is Shaan or Kanchan but will Shaan/Kanchan ever speak up.

The only way Astha will get involved is if either Shaan wakes up from his stupor after seeing Shaurya go insane and Shastha decide to play some semblance of parent to their distraught man-child or Shaurya asks for her help in getting back together with Anokhi but he will have to prove his sincerity to Astha first.

I see the odds of former happening more than latter but so far I have no hope from Shaan.

Loved the comment here! And I agree with everything you have said...

Shaurya has to want to see Astha's side! Having seen Astha and Devi being friends, I had seriously started doubting that now Shaurya will be like... Haan aap dono meri maa ho side... And I still think that the possibility is open... But Badi Maa and her blackmailing will push him away...

There are too many things that can help Shaurya see through it all and that indebtedness can just reduce to some extent but what's the point... There should have been some soch ki takkar... With Gayatri and Kanchan joining in too... It's sad to see woman portraying hatred towards woman's growth... And Devi should have been first one to change side in that family... But whole manipulation drama makes her so unredeemable.... I want Shagun to really really double cross Saberwals and once Anokhi moves on she should be like... I am done... Bye bye... And pack bags and just move... Rather than actually being psycho path like she claimed in her interviews!

I agree with @dramacrazy though that Aastha doesn't force anyone. That is a character trait that has remained intact since the beginning, even the flashbacks. It is like she has a tendency to let it go, (her critics will say giving it up). Perhaps it has something to do with coping with loss. I am certainly overanalyzing but she lost her younger sibling and was learning to let it go. She let go off her rights on Shaurya Shaan and SM too easily instead of staying put and fighting it out. Perhaps she thought her going away would stop the conflicts in the family. It is not like she loved Shaurya and Shaan any less than her parents. Neither is it that she cannot fight. She was repeatedly threatened and humiliated by Ramesh Bhalla and yet she didn't stop fighting for Anokhi. She can answer back to Tej and Devi when required. She took on a goon like Raja so I don't think she was afraid to take on the Sabharwals. Though her decision turned out to be completely wrong.

This time around also I think she will not force Anokhi to fight for Shaurya if Anokhi decides to stay away on knowing about Shaurya's engagement and thinking about her own career. As for Shaurya, I don't know if he will be willing to give her a chance to even speak. She has much less rights and power over Shaurya than over Anokhi. But since she knows that both Shaurya and Anokhi want each other but are forced by circumstances to go different ways, I hope she doesn't let them repeat her own mistake and take some substantial steps to at least make them reconsider their decisions.

Devi is pushing Shaurya away from herself with these manipulations. I believe Shaurya is able to see through her act. But his indebtedness to her will force him to get engaged to Shagun.

I hope Aastha and Shaan are not relegated to the background and become ineffective props like Gayatri who speak but no one listens to them. The Shaan that we are seeing now would have made for an interesting character if we had not seen the previous Shaan. Had Shaan been a more responsible father to Shaurya from the beginning like in the OG, him being opposed to Anokhi would have made more sense. I don't know if after seeing how Anokhi single handedly rescued Shaurya, he will be more accepting towards their relationship.

Wow! Amazing analysis! I agree with the letting go part; that seems like her character trait; also agree with how she doesn’t force anyone; she gives advice and that advice might be coming from a biased pov but leaves it onto the other person to make the last decision.

One thing tho is the indebtedness part, yes shaurya feels indebted to her but he has still raised his voice for anokhi, the student; That scene where he says uska naam anokhi hai and recently toh he outright refused to get engaged.

I know that BM is ill or whatever so it might make some sense for shaurya to agree but still this track itself is so unwanted, what even is the need to forcefully revolve tracks around 3rd angles.

Shaan aastha with relation to shakhi form the main base of conflict but they are still stuck in 3rd angles neglecting the already well built characters and pushing them in the background.

Loved the post, hope makers start thinking in the same direction so that the story finally comes back on track

The story is definitely unpredictable in a way that no one knows which character is going to flip and when🤪

I am Totally in a rant mode today after seeing the precap; definitely unpredictable

Why are they Introducing new tracks when they already have so many open ended ones?

I am keeping no expectations even with shakhi story now; so Shaan-aastha or shaurya-aastha-anokhi is even farther away.

I so wish this engagement thing isn’t serious😒

I am in Troll Mood! Let's troll our show... 🤣

I still have little hope from Astha that she will take stand for her beta... But kis haq se I don't know? Shaurya does not consider her as his mother... That's where I have made the post... Ki ab what's her future here... I so want her to leave Saberwal parivaar and ShaKhi alone.... But then they have to show some progress on Shaurya and Astha's relationship too na?

I swear, Plus makers are trolling us by giving such ridiculous tracks and we have kept a lot of patience, I was like kv has come now they will focus on actual story but nahi, so Humara bhi Haq banta hai🤣

I think it would be a good idea for makers to create a situation which makes BM and aastha confront eo in front of everyone. Whole web of manipulation and lies of the past with both sides defending themselves in front of shaurya while shaurya being utterly confused as to what to believe and what not to.

And then relate all of this to soch ki takkar since shaurya being fed with lies is the reason he has such a mentality.

Since it is unrealistic for shaurya to believe aastha overnight; building their relations from here would be a good idea imo while running shakhi conflict side by side.

Me and my imagination lol🤪

Aise to I have said I have no hopes but look at me imagining the scenarios and how I expect them to bring the show back on track lmao🤣

They need to keep sabherwals drama in the background for the time being and make Shagun leave, for good; can’t tolerate her at all

To be very honest, I have very little hope from Shaan seeing better side of Anokhi at the moment. He seems too obsessed with Shagun...

And who knows, maybe Badi Maa will go and emotionally blackmail him that I will let you marry and bring Astha back to this house if you support ShaSha🤣

@Green - To be very honest... I don't want Astha to interfere much between ShaKhi and rather I want her to understand keeping herself away from Shaurya is good for herself... She can think about getting married and all with Shaurya but only after she completes her education...

I am thinking that they might be planning a secret wedding here🤪 again... How and why will Anokhi agree... I dunno... Again Shaurya might emotionally blackmail Anokhi to marry or else he will jump out of running car... 😆 like ML did in other DJs show... But seems like that's the route... I never wanted Anokhi to be weaker one to keep forgetting whatever Shaurya does... Like right from character assassination... We have seen her forgiving him with sorry and stupid acts like barging into hostel room, running to Goa or getting into accident whereas Shaurya does not spare anything about Anokhi without character assassinating her, Ahir or just getting angry...

Aastha will not or cannot interfere much between Shakhi but she has to do something for them. Otherwise her relevance to the story will be lost. Truth be told, no one is really interested in her story ( people like me are few). I want her to try and talk to Shaurya once. To make him see why Anokhi's career is so important to her. She can give him an insight into her abusive family. It will not change Shaurya's thinking overnight neither should it. But will make him think. I also don't want Aastha to reason with Anokhi. Since she perhaps knows Shaurya even less than Anokhi does. And I certainly don't want her to repeat "you can change Shaurya and his family" BS. That is too much to ask of a 20 year old girl who just recently escaped a toxic family. All she can tell her is not to decide anything in a hurry and share her fears and doubts with Shaurya. She should make Anokhi feel that no matter what decision the latter takes, she would support her.

I don't how Anokhi will agree for secret marriage. If it happens at all, I don't want Aastha to be happy about it. She always encouraged her to finish her education before marriage. Now this about turn would be difficult to digest. No one would want a marriage soon but apparently that is needed to save the show.

As for Aastha-Shaurya relationship. I want Aastha to do something really big, something like what she did for Anokhi, to make him feel that she still cares for him. No matter how much I may defend her, the truth is she could never really do anything for her son. So there is no reason for him to accept her back. First and foremost, she will have to admit that she did a mistake by leaving him with the Sabharwals. I like Aastha because she is strong but not perfect.
