Yeh Rishta is one of the very very few IF forums where you can actually discuss, criticize, place your minority opinions without any restriction. The members of this forum are pretty open minded and dont do blind lead worshipping.
Some of the other forums have very staunch fans whoāll support the leads to any extent - even if they engage in EMA etc. forget criticism, you cant even state your opinion without coming across - āthen dont watch the showā comments. More than show discussion, they are fans-only forums, where theyāll keep praising actors 24x7.
And blur the line between actor and character too.
Thankful that this forum is pretty open and varied.
Yeh rishta is one of few IF forums where there is only criticism of the current leads. How much of it is objective, I leave it to the members. I have seen many posts about things like naira/sirat's fashion sense šš or hair style š all finally alluding to Shivangi's fault. I have even seen posts about shivi's age or beauty and op says the fans of Twitter have bashed her and hence she created the post her. I would not blame if shivi considers these as comments by the fans of shows former leads and ignores.
Case in point here is a post which is asking for fav tracks of the current leads. We can see the number of responses it got. It is puzzling to me that members who claim to have watched the show from 5 years cannot find a single positive thing to say about tracks forget about leads. It is hard to take such "criticism" seriously šš

Nope. A LOT of people frequently compliment Mohsin, Aarambh, Mohena, Hina, Karan, Ashnoor, Rohan, Rishab, the music, the track subjects, etc.
It's just that ITV fans are used to worshipping female leads as 'pure, innocent, perfect' goddesses. So Shivangi fans can't tolerate that while she has a large fanbase, there are also many people who find her performance increasingly cringe. The clothes & hairstyles she wears on a visual medium are often so bad that they're distracting. That she herself has made conflicting statements about her age & that reflects very poorly on the ITV industry. Moreover, Shivin fans other socials are so toxic that people cannot even fan over Keesh or share disappointment about the show. They're so toxic that Mohsin himself blocks many of them.
So yeah. For many stans.. Alluding that everyone here is a hater/unfair critic is easier than making peace with the fact that not everyone worships their kWeEn.
Leap starts from Feb 2.
