Hey guys
I know I have a story which is yet to be completed. Had finished 3/4 of it, but as luck would have its way, it got deleted. I just wasn’t in the frame of mind to rewrite it just now. The frustration of losing all of that writing has been vented out below. So this is a random one and any likes or dislikes are purely coincidental and not intentional 🙈. And they have obviously not been proof read either🤐
Sai and Virat were engrossed in their regular banter, teasing each other just like old times. It was like nothing had happened and they never had separated. They were so absorbed in their conversation that they had forgotten that they were so close and their hands were still holding on to each other so tightly. A pretty picture of a completely in love couple. But unknown to them they had drawn the wrath and jealousy of someone observing them. Patralekha! She was fuming with anger. She had done everything to keep Sai away from Virat, but here was so close!
Pakhi - Sai.. she shouted. How dare you? I told you cant meet Virat.
Sai - And exactly who are you to stop me.
Pakhi glared at her
Pakhi - I’m his friend. I’m his family. The elders of the family have given me his responsibility
Sai - Friend, Family and oh yes his Vahini. We all know that. But you still haven’t answered my question who are you to stop ME?
Pakhi - (The mention of being Virat’s Vahini sent Pakhi off the cliff) Who are you to decide on my relation? You left the house and you refused to come back to Virat. Now you are neither his wife nor part of Chavan family.
Sai - Couples have fights, have issues its normal. But thats personal to only. No third person has any right to interfere. And let me state it clear “I’m Virat Sir’s wife” and that is a fact no once can challenge. Neither you, nor Chavan family. You can keep denying it in your delusional world. I dont care. I’m not accountable to answer any of your questions.
Pakhi - Shut up! You are such an opportunist. Now that you see that Virat is in this state you are trying to use this as an excuse to get back.
Virat - Enough Pakhi. I have made it clear that I want Sai to forgive me and come back. Why are you unnecessary creating a scene.
Pakhi - (ignoring Virat, and spitting out the venom that seems to have consumed her)You just walk into anyone’s life and create chaos. You are such an arrogant, shameless girl, who just needs to be shown her place. (Almost grabbing Sai’s hand)
Virat - (trying to get up) - Shut up Patralekha . Get out of my sight right now. I will not allow anyone to insult my wife. You are no1 to call her names and force her to leave me. She is my wife and she has all rights on me and anything concerning me. You can never challenge her rights on me. You stand nowhere.
Pakhi was stunned. Like she had been slapped hard. She runs away pushing past Mohit who had just witnessed the entire scene.
Mohit - Dada.. are you all right? You had us all worried.
Virat - I’m fine NOW (looking at Sai)
Mohit (smiles looking at them) Dada I know that you haven’t recovered. But this is getting out of hand. How Pakhi vahini has been behaving since yesterday, its becoming intolerable. The way she behaved with Vahini was so wrong.
Sai wanted to stop him, because she didn’t want Virat to stress.
Mohit - I know Vahini that you dont want this to be brought up. But Patralekha vahini has crossed all limits. How can she insult Ashwini Kaku? Is she more important than a mother and wife?
Now Sai was also furious knowing that her Aai had been insulted. Mohit narrated the entire sequence of events, how she took charge and acted like she was the closest to Virat, how she shouted at Ashwini, stopping Sai from meeting Virat and humiliating her.
Anger was an understatement that what Sai and Virat felt at point. Just then a nurse arrived asking someone from the family to meet the doctor. Sai leaves to speak to the doctor.
Mohit tried to lighten the situation but Virat couldn’t bring himself to forget all that he had just heard.
Mohit - Dada I don’t know if its my place to advise you or say anything in this matter. I know we haven’t spoken about this. But the situation seems to going out of hand. Until and unless to make it clear to everyone that Sai Vahini is you wife and hence has complete right when it comes to you this wont stop. You will have to sternly put this to Patralekha Vahini. I guess you should stay away from her. And most importantly I feel, Sai Vahini also holds herself back while exercising her rights as your wife. Though she fights really hard all the time, but still there are times when she stops herself. I know you love Vahini and so does she. If all that we have seen of the two for so long is not enough, these two surely prove it. But you will have to give her the clarity, that confidence that she is your wife.
Virat - I understand Mohit. I think I have overlooked a lot of things. I need Sai to know that this marriage is real for me. Pakhi only is a friend or rather was a friend. She is Sister in Law, my Jeeva’s wife. Pakhi and out family need to understand Sai’s place in my life and give her the respect that she deserves.

Seeing Pakhi come back with Mohit all are worried.
Bhavani - Why have you come back Patralekha? How can you leave Virat alone
Pakhi (wiping her tears) - If I will say anything, then Ashwini mami will say that I’m badmouthing and instigating everyone.
Ninad - No one will say anything to you. We gave you the responsibility of Virat. What happened.
Pakhi (sobbing) - That Sai pushed me and forcefully entered Virat’s room. She emotionally blackmailed Virat to stay with him and I was made to leave.
Mohit - Stop lying Pakhi Vahini. I saw everything that happened. Virat dada was so happy to see Vahini. He wanted only Sai Vahini to be with him. You were the one insulting her and intruding in a husband and wife’s life. It was Virat Dada who asked you to leave, and he made it evident that he does not want you to stay with him.
Pakhi (glaring at mohit) - I spent the whole night staring .... I mean looking after Virat. I was standing on one leg the whole time
Karishma - Why only on one leg Patralekha Bhabhi? What happened to the other leg
Ashwini - For the brownie points. When she has to compete with Sai she can say that she did all of it on one leg.
Bhavani - Enough Ashwini. How can you call Patralekha selfish? She is the best DIL anyone can get.
Pakhi - Do you even know how difficult it is to stand one leg for the entire night? I had practiced it all through my school life and was a champion in the game. But Virat didn’t even acknowledge it. He didn’t even consider that I had to place match sticks between my eyelids so that I dont blink. (Sai had told her she only had this night to spend with Virat). Instead of appreciating or thanking me for all my extraordinary efforts, he asked to get out and let that Sai stay back
Ashwini - We didn’t ask you for this favour Patralekha. He has his Aai, baba, brother and most importantly his wife to take care of him. You just forcefully offered your services.
Mohit - Patralekha Vahini dont worry. We have asked for a front page column space in tomorrow’s newspaper to publish about your super human capabilities and selfless care services. Since i heard you were interested in working this should open new avenues for you
If looks could kill, Mohit would have been dead meat by now. But alas, Pakhi’s powers didnt go that far, so she left fuming. While the others were left open mouthed, Ashwini, Bua and Mohit had a hearty laugh at the infamous walk and epic insult of Patralekha!
