But yes, you are right .. too many hints given .. 1) While leaving Lahore & 2) Forgiving Dilawar for his blood .. Plus the story line on which HN is defining love .. liberation is certainly in store for us ..

I am not calling it death because I dont know if we will actually see death or just a liberation of his soul

Exactly, even if her mother and sikka agrees, Nazim Shah will never bow down to this at least, and we already saw Nazim Shah pointing a gun at Mahi in the OST, so may be he will indeed learn about his widowed sister being in love with a man from the working class.
