Can someone explain this relationship to me?

Hi everyone. I am a bit curious as to the relationship between Mami and Suman.

Is Mami, Sumans brothers wife? But then I thought that Sumans husband gave the money to his brother aka Mami's husband.

Sorry if I am confusing you all. But I am also very confused. Basically what is Mamis relationship with Suman. How did Mami get Sumans kangan and if Mami is related to Suman or her husband then isn't it weird to get "your daughter" (aka Raavi) married into this family.

Raavi is not mami daughter but mami sister daughter that's why mamikibehenkibeti and mami is suman brother wife

Mami is Suman's brother's wife. She has kangans because Suman once gave her to them so Mama could have identical ones made for her, but then Suman fell ill and Mami never returned them. That's why Shiva keeps zeroing in on the kangans. Raavi is Prafulla's sister's daughter, hence not related by blood to the Pandyas. She was orphaned at 10 days old and taken in by Mami.

Shiva's Mother's Brother's Wife is being called "Mami"

Mother= Suman

Brother [Mama]= Jagat

Brother's wife [Mami]= Prafulla

Prafulla Adopted her sister's daughter [Raavi] when her sister and Brother-in-law [Raavi's parents] died in car accident--> therefore Raavi calling her "Masi" [Her Mother's sister]

If I am not wrong, Prafulla also adopted her Brother's daughter [Anita] --> therefore Anita is calling her as "Foi" [Her Father's sister]

Oh in one episode I heard, Prafulla [Mami] & Jagat [Mama] having a real Son who is studying in Delhi. [It was just a verbal introduction given.]

Having said that, Raavi or Anita can marry any Pandya Brothers as they are not blood related.

Anita is not adopted, initially her parents were shown to live in the same house as Jagat and Prafulla. They've vanished into thin air after the leap tho, no mention of what happened.

That's the same..Shiva's mom is suman, her brother is jagat (mama), and his wife prafulla (mami).

Prafulla would be Suman's bhabhi. Aka brothers wife. (it's not just husband's brothers wife).
