There isn't one piece of info coming out about this that makes Kartik look good in this dispute. If any of it is true, calling him unprofessional is completely on point.

Kartik is wrong for wanting pay increase after he shot the movie. He should’ve said what he wanted as payment before he signed the movie, he is wrong for that. Also karan is wrong for giving karthik that kind of money since he is giving back to back hits, I am one of those people who don’t want to see janhvi in movies, the fact that he is giving her so many movies it’s because of her mom. It feels like they are giving only nepo kids a lot of money, ranbir kapoor gets 38 crore or 20 for a movie while people who are giving back to back hits are getting 3 or 5 crore, are they serious. She is opposite Vicky in his next and that’s wrong karan for replacing karthik in that movie but kartik has horrible attitude so not surprised if karan is willing to lose money and partners over this. Negotiations over money is done before you sign contract since you know you were giving hits before signing movie. Why he didn’t make lak a hit? I have not seen watched that movie not interested in the new girls like janhvi sara and etc. also kartik unprofessional for shooting another movie while telling karan because of covid he is not shooting

As much as karthik trying to up his price in between filming, is a d**k move, Kjo is a snaky POS who had no intention of offering kartik another project... and wanted to just finish dostana and move on.

Kjo bluffed kartik when he offered two more projects to make up the remuneration difference. And then he snaked kartik by giving those projects away to other actors...so that’s why kartik wanted to sign the 3rd project before he resumed Dostana, to ensure Kjo is committed to his word....which Kjo wasn’t gonna do, so they are at a stalemate.

Butthurt Kjo decided to swallow his losses (aka insurance) and get another actor to send a message.

ideally if Kjo believed that KA was valuable star but it would kill the budget to pay him more before filming was complete, they would have worked out a profit sharing deal..., but it shows neither believed too much in the project itself and Kjo def doesn’t care for KA.

And that explains the akshay replacement rumours.... KA fancies himself as Akshay 2.0. 😂

Karthik should sign a contract with Netflix or Amazon Prime and do shows like Mirzapur/Sacred Games/Patal lok/Family Man/ Special Ops etc. He will do better in that zone. The problem with Karthik's lack of growth as an actor is that he isn't working with directors that can extract that edgy performance.

Yep, biggest takeaway from the article is that KJo was a snake 😃

I admit I find KJo entertaining and I like most of his movies but he is a snake, nonetheless. And this is something he ADMITS to. He has admitted before that he sabotages people.

Kartik reminds me of Vivek Oberoi but with less talent. These people get some minor success and it goes to their head. Kartik couldn't digest getting a few hits and girls like Sara and Jahnvi being interested in him. He thinks way too highly of himself. Just imagine trying to arm twist and play games with someone 10x more powerful than you.
