I admit I find KJo entertaining and I like most of his movies but he is a snake, nonetheless. And this is something he ADMITS to. He has admitted before that he sabotages people.

It’s even more entertaining to see KA trying to take on KJo but getting him to sign the papers for the 3rd movie and call his bluff out.

Makes me think Kjo only signed KA cuz he was cheap and was undervaluing himself in 2019. Idk what the going rates are for actors but 2-3 crores seems awfully low... I bet Jannu is getting almost equal pay.

Anyways, Both of them know this project is trash. This movie was in the making since the original one released and casting changed so much...it’s nobody loss that this project is in the dumps.

I can see how this can rub Kjo the wrong considering how he till date pays his home grown Aloo not more than 2 crores lol, but something doesnt add up if Kartik had signed Dostana 2 in 2019 hadn't he already given all his big hits by then coz 2020 mein toh only LAK2 released which bombed, anyway the way Kjo n chamchas despite the self proclaimed "dignified silence" stance are on a PR overdrive with this snooty Kartik narrative, that just further makes things evident, good to see Kartik's co-stars coming out in his defense while he for real is maintaining the actual dignified silence.

Imagine you are employee in a regular firm, you get salary raise once every year. But you cannot in the middle of the project say that either you raise my salary, or I'll quit. That's blackmail. And unlike regular firms, where someone else can still replace you, one cannot replace an actor in a film for obvious reasons.

You made a commitment, you stick to it. You cannot keep re-negotiating salary in the middle of a film. Highly unprofessional behaviour from Kartik.

The fact that Karan chose to be ok with 20 crores of loss of production costs, instead of increasing Kartik's fees and massaging his ego, shows that he didn't want to work with a toxic person anymore. Good riddance!

And this should serve as a warning to all those producers who may cast him in big projects whose shoot may continue for 1-2 years. Who knows if he will start re-negotiating his salary based on his market price in the middle of a film! And if you don't comply, he will act unprofessional with his silly tactics.

It’s easy to blame Karan in the current climate. But it seems Kartik has gotten too big for his boots. It’s a huge hike from 2-3 crores and expecting 10c.

He has popularity but that doesn’t translate into box office success all the time. Love aaj kal flopped.

He’s not wrong wanting to raise his fees but on a project where everything has been agreed and they’re just waiting for you to commence shooting because you’re too busy making excuses is a big NO! And the outsider tag will only give you sympathy for so long.

Again in this climate karan could’ve just given in but the fact that he chose to bare the brunt tells me Karan made a decision for his own sanity and he clearly knew he wasn’t in the complete wrong here. Also he’s the boss and can’t set a precedent like that otherwise tomorrow koi bhi munh utha ke demands Karne lage ga.

Karthik was the unprofessional one. And might I add this has nothing to do with insider outsider or Karan's friends. Kareena was negotiating her fees for KHNh even before officially signing on and Karan said bye bye. What excuses Karthik from doing the same AFTER a signed contract?

Kartik is wrong for what he did, he should’ve said his fees before signing the movie especially since he is the one carrying the movie on his shoulder, I am part of the people whose not watching janhvi movie but karan paying him less is also wrong. Nepo kids is paid more payment than outsiders. When dp and rk was doing a movie together, dp was paid 3 crore while rk was paid close to 40 crore and movie was sold on both of their names. I am shocked that janhvi is paid the same amount of money as Kartik whose giving back to back hits. Kareena was not a huge star back then, she had back to back flops, started out with a flop. Amisha Patel, preity, Aish, pc, even bipasha was bigger star than her back then. Happy Kareena didn’t do that movie, she used to overact to the limit, preity was perfect for that movie.

If kartik agreed to be paid a certain amount for the film then asking for an increase in his fee halfway through filming is very unreasonable, you have to stick to the fee you have in your contract, you can’t just midway demand more money

So the little fly was trying to arm twist a giant and got thrown out.....serves him right.....this is not how it works....that you try to get a raise in between a project by keeping the producer hostage....

I knew it was something serious...otherwise who would want to reshoot a half shot movies and lose 20 crores....

Kartik is as bad as KJo.....if not worse....its so early in his career....and he has started arm twisting producers...wow..

I think people would be wary of him now.....because he basically is a black mailer.🤢

People keep crying over star kids.....but look here is a true blue outsider behaving this way....
