Yes. U R right about Rishita. In original Tamil version, Rishita's character changes in due course and slowly the family accepts her as she is. She is little bit selfish but will always stand up for family even against her father. She fights a lot with everyone in the family but she never tries to break the family or tries to go alone with Dev bcoz her love for Dev is unconditional and she adjusts in middle class household just for Dev's sake. In Tamil, the scenes were created where neither Rishita is wrong or others. How to say, like both sides are correct. Both sides have valid points. Her only expectations is to live happily with Dev n he shd give 1st preference to her than the family esp Dhara. She is so Frank and never tries to break the family. It was a gradual transmition. Her character was very realistic as in real life. She is neither too bad or too good. She is open and won't keep one in heart and spk one outside. Not just Rishita's but in Tamil all the characters has their own flaws including Dhara. All the characters are shown as in real life and neither all are perfect or extreme villain as shown in Hindi version including Rishita's father. Though he hates Pandya family, his love for his daughter is unconditional and he forgives her when she becomes pregnant. He is not shown as much villanous as in hindi version. It was realistic. And also Shiva - Raavi's relationship also shown as gradual transmition. It was very beautiful n realistic.Their characters in Tamil is Kathir - Mullai is a magical pair. No big villains, ordinary middle class house, ordinary dress, no big villains and collies and more over it depicts the day to day life of ordinary middle class families. That's why the show is a grand success.

I think the major difference here is the TV industry.
I have noticed, whether its movies or tv shows of south, they all are very simple yet beautiful. But hindi tv industry is a bit extreme, with more drama. So they changed the original storyline here and there.
I don't think they're going to make Rishita outright villain, but yes with jodis they're going to experiment for sure.

U R right. Hindi tv industry is diff from south. As a regular viewer of Pandian stores (Tamil original version) , it wi be little bit hard to watch if Rishita's character turned into a camp as original character in Tamil Meena is not as such. Anyways, shd not compare both industries. My only wish is that makers don't turn Rishita's character as fu vamp. It will be good if they maintain the original flavour.
