Calling him a trash would be an understatement. Infact the word would feel insulted. One of the most repulsive MLs ever to have come out of ITV. After making Sai go through all the verbal, emotional & mental abuse, that loser self victimizies himself to pity himself how Sai's forced him to behave that way with her. Classic case of abuser shaming the victim. Shedding crocodile tears after treating his wife like crap with his own hand, no CVs those tear-soaked eyes in every scene whenever he does shit things with Sai isn't going to work this time. He had a choice instead he's himself behaved barbaric with Sai. Also, in such circumstances only your inner soul, true character reflects with your choice of words & treatment. And stop justifying that inhuman act under the garb of so-called inner turmoil, hurt, betrayal, anger, angst whatsoever. Sai should've thrown the mangalsutra, divorce papers & bangles he gifted on his face. And don't say not all men are same etc. I'm a boy myself & can speak behalf of my gender, don't normalise toxic masculinity, abusive, chauvinistic behaviour for heaven's sake.

Also, SaiRat is officially destroyed like anything beyond repair. Whitewashing Virat with self-pity, those crocodile tears, self-victimization is no way gonna rectify that loser. He's beyond redemption for me. No amount of apologise is gonna redeem him from this point. Period.

exactly for me shipping Sairat is like shipping Sai with Jagtap now. Jagtap tried to rape her, Virat left her outside to be raped even after Shivani bua said she will be unsafe. What's the difference?

well as an another male... I have been let down by both Sai & Virat.

Today's those - "why did you make me do this Sai", was poor writing, wrong dialogues & execution at a wrong point of time, especially after all the yelling match that just happened.

when it comes to Sai = for the basic fact, she thinks hiding things from her hubby or whatever she considers him - is okay, as long as she considers them to be right according to her.

I had no issue with her marrying Devi to Pulkit after a reinvestigation. I heard in some other version - the Devi character tried to commit suicide, so that forced the Sai's character to make the hurried decision to elope & get her married unlike in this version. There was literally no urgency over here.

Anyways, coming back to the core topic -

Virat is at beyond redemption at this point. I would've appreciated, if he would have at least arranged accommodation for the night & threw her out of the house the next morning - out of sheer humanity, forget about relations & compassion. Ashwini said the same thing to him, let Sai in for the night, you can decide whatever you want in the next morning.

I haven't watched the other versions of the show nor am I interested in them, so I have nothing to compare with.

you & your damn obsession with rape You think the only form of abuse a girl goes through is rape ? Goddamn, now don't quote me again with 80% of the women who step outside in the nights get raped.

Jagtap as far as I recall didn't force himself upon her, he tried to force her into marriage.

It's like they replaced the suicide drama of Tai with the pulkit kidnapping as justification for her marrying them in haste, but it would have been better if they had shown both. Devi tai suicide attempt after pulkit kidnapping. Then it would have been far more justified.
