When does a man repeatedly have to say that ''he doesnt care for X,Y,Z person or that he didn't do a favor for that X,Y,Z person out of any affection/liking or an inexplicable urge to protect that person from harm? When he knows that, that's exactly what it is looking like. How many times Raghav has to defend his actions saying saying he didn't do it for Pallavi or out of any concern for her? why does he have to say that all the time?
