I will check it out. Yes, it takes a special kind to see how fabulous job the writers are doing while navigating such a complicated topic. I have seen so many shows that have messed up with difficult topics and imlie surviving the test is really credit to everyone including us viewers who understand and see the underlying meaning.

How is she at fault here ? matlab koi kuch bhi kare unless you stand up to it, you deserve the emotional trauma is it ? The way I see it, Aditya is the only one to blame for all this mess. Not malini nor imlie (Soon she'll be added to the list if she continues her mahanta jhaap). Malini is the victim here, she might not want to face the truth, but it is Aditya's responsibility to tell the truth.

ETA: Also tomorrow after shoving the truth to her face, malini may lose her stability and might completely want to deny and think something's wrong with her/beg aditya to stay...even then it doesn't mean she deserves what's aditya done to her. Not everyone is your Jane Austin's heroine with all the pride and self-sufficiency. Not even if they are completely educated holding top positions.

ETA2: Also just to draw a parallel to all the outrage going on here about Imlie being called as maid...malini ka tho har roz naam karan ho ta hai na, people called her chudail etc in some posts today.

Didn’t I say the same thing that she is not ready to face the truth or hear the truth because she does not want to, even when it’s staring at her face. She might lose her stability when she knows this truth. Aditya knows this , understand this and hence the reason from him why he is delaying in telling the truth because he is worried that she might not be able to bear it. I do blame Aditya for the bigamy mess but I cannot blame him for the mess that their relationship is in. They both were in it together and hence it’s unhealthy state is both their responsibility.

Again are you watching the show because Aditya Kumar Tripathi is not at all afraid of his family or their wrath. That is the least of his concern at this moment. And he is delaying because of Moon’s health . If you watched the show you would have known this.

Seriosuly itni baar bolne ke baad bhi, they keep justifying why Aditya is wrong. Did my post say that Aditya is right or not at fault? May be I was not clear enough My post was only about all this terms that they keep using for the show that has nothing to do with it and why I do not relate to Malini since the PD track especially after the tamesha that she did during the PD track. At that time she could not turn a blind eye, hide her turmoil, wait for Aditya to come back but no she had to leave the house and hurt all the T’s.

Just because Aditya is not telling the truth does not mean that we should turn a blind eye to a relationship that was always doomed. Bas he is not telling the truth so he is at fault so what about the fact that she is not ready to hear the truth. If they had seen the show they would realize how complicated the truth is and how many faces it has. But superficial cheezons se aage dekhenge to pata chalega. 😆

I am also not sure why we are discussing something that is not happened or will happen. So looks like my post turned into something that was not it’s intent. But well reading the comments, you come to know who have been watching the show and who are here just to create trouble. 😆

Wasn’t it just two days ago that we went off on Aditya for being silent while Imlie was being schooled in manners? Have we ever said everyone is faultless? Flawed characters ko leke story banayenge toh there will discussions on all characters and their capabilities.

All of us wanted Malini to be told the truth. At every point. We still do. But has she shown an inclination to know the truth? She definitely goes around saying it a lot. But every instance she has not pressed. That is how the story is and that is how her character is - she fears the truth that she is already aware of innately. Latest being, when she returns home after having said that she is staying back - why would you let Aditya sleep? You are troubled constantly by questions - you do not stop until you get answers. You do not offload them on another person by giving Aditya a free pass because he is her husband or whatever. You want to know the truth, you press for the truth until you hear it.

Just because, Aditya is not telling the truth, it cannot be the excuse to look over all her flaws. Like Aditya is a flawed character, she is also a flawed character but using this truth as a defense mechanism for her every act is something that I cannot understand. Her husband is behaving weirdly, her actions in reciprocation are like a pendulum. Do I relate to it? No, Do I understand it ? Absolutely because that is her character sketch. This is her but using her flaws and justifying it, making her a victim and calling her husband a cheater and his other wife a maid, their relationship an EMA is what I have objection to and what my post was about.

As someone said ,the story is not over yet, why make assumptions and bash the characters just because one is unable to and accept the flaws of their favorite character. It so rare to see such a beautiful, layered relationship develop on ITV and a sensitive subject handled so well but they do not want to see beyond the fact that "Aditya is not telling the truth "

Lol, are people even watching the same serial if they think Aditya is a cheater, Aditya-Imlie relationship is EMA and Imlie is a maid? 😆

I am enjoying the serial AS THEY ARE SHOWING it with the three main characters so far.

Lets put the blame where it is due. Totally not saying that Aditya is not at fault but she is also not "doodh ki dooli" as the claim is going.

@bold - this exactly. It has such a layered arc for ITV that people should watch it for the storytelling alone. Lekin if we want to see non-existent problems and make mountains out of molehills from them, I have nothing to say.

The premise has always been how each of these 3 individuals are not going to be the 3 from 20 years ago. Aditya is not Dev, Malini is not her mother and Imlie is not going to be Mithi in the sense that she is going to overcome every obstacle through her own strength and with the support of the man who is going to be with her through it all. That is the end point. We are not even at 25% of the complicated journey so I do not see why people want ten things at the same time - get Imlie married to 5 different people, Malini married to Nishant or send Aditya to jail because he is a liar.

Unfortunately Aditya and Imlie have been written very well whereas Malini has been written shakily. Even with that the makers have been pretty consistent with showing her flaws from episode 1. But logon ko Malini ki tarah sirf 7 saal hi dikh jaata hai.
