What gets me about the subtlety every time is that Aditya and Imlie’s love for each other is extremely intense and they have not needed any extreme form of physical contact to bring that out on the screen. I hope they continue it; especially now that they are in the same house as Malini as well as the family.

Re Aditya’s reflections. Totally. PD was like another world for him. He had no control over what was transpiring within himself to even think about what complexities his family and Malini would bring in to his evolved feelings. It was nicely done in that sense

@bold: Ditto....they have maintained that beautifully so far. First pair I'm seeing probably in forever that are able to convey such intensity of emotion between them without any typical physical contact as is done in most ITV stories to convey intensity or passion.

But yes, now things are moving into a different phase with them being back under the same roof after having recognized and accepted their emotions for each other....it will be a trickier balancing act now to keep growing their relationship while also maintaining the sensitivity of the overall situation they are in, especially with Malini creeping around them😆

Yes, Adi has been focused since a while now on just on finding his sense of balance again for which he needed Imlie back....now that she's back, he should have some basic sense of balance atleast to function even as other situations will throw up new challenges😆. He hasn't thought past what he will do once Imlie is back in the house😆......ab jaake he will get a sense of the challenges of this situation bhi and that it's nowhere close to resolution simply with her being back in his home😆

I hope they continue to give us convos of Adi wanting to share everything with Imlie....a crappy work day, memories of his past, any other family issue.....yeah their own issue is the biggest problem they have to solve😆....but it would be nice to see Adi feeling the need to share more of himself with Imlie.

For Adi, he came at it from the perspective that friendship, ease and convenience is love....only to realize now that he got it wrong too before he discovered it with Imlie....and he's realizing this is love precisely because of the intensity of what this emotion is....when your heart is so connected to someone that you can't bear being without them for a moment.

That's where they both are right now....Imlie having always been devoted to him but now feeling a spike in the whirlwind of emotions inside her that this feeling brings....and Adi discovering this intense emotion for someone for the first time in his life....they both feel it, they both recognize that something this intense can only be labeled love....but they are still navigating the surprising intensity and helplessness it is bringing out in them😆.

What makes it beautiful is that they don't need to keep labeling it love every 2 seconds for the fact to come through that it is love.....yes, there can be confessions, realizations....but at the end of the day, above all else, they flow with the emotions as they feel them....that's the beautiful part.

Imlie though mature is still young where matters of heart are concerned. As you said, that her school of thought is love the person you marry and hence its Aditya for her... But as a man, his values and his soch has always impressed her. She wanted to follow his ideals and be like him. After marriage though, he has been cruel to her at times but when push came to shove, he has always supported her or stood next to her..and that is where her feeling of love started to bloom for Aditya the man. But she has still not comprehended fully the extent of them or what it entails. It was easier for her to say that I will stay without you or do it alone because she has seen her mother doing it but in reality she was struggling. because her feelings for Aditya are completely different that Mithi feelings for Dev.... She thought she could control her actions but she is in the process of realizing that "feeling pe kiska zor nahin hota" and you cannot suppress them.

Aditya is more matured so he can label his feelings more easily but as he has never felt them before, he has no control of his actions. He is doing things which he knows he is not supposed to do or he has not done before but is still not able to control it... It come out in his ""pata nahi hum kya kar rahe hain or kyun kar rahe hain"... He is still discovering the extent or intensity of his feelings and how overpowering they can be sometimes and how helpless it can make him where he has no control of his actions...

As you said, they are still in a phase where they are trying to get a handle on their emotions but their actions speak louder than words where it comes to labeling them... Yes Aditya needs that assurance and I think its more for him to get the confirmation that she has feelings for him and not him the husband. But their declarations will always come out in their actions, their playfulness, their competiveness rather than words or declarations.

The thing with Aditya is he thinks if Imlie accepts her feelings for him, it is going to be easy for him to tell the truth to everyone. He just does not get Malini yet does he. Why does he think she would make it any easy if he suddenly woke up one day and told her he considers her a friend only nothing more and that the last 7 years were nothing but a replacement for Nishant’s absence from his life.

I hope Aditya tells Imlie about the editor knowing their truth. And Imlie talking about how Prakash came to know about Malini. That would be a good convo but khwaish kuch zyaada ho gayi meri 😆

Re memories of his past....now that would be something. It would throw a lot of clarity across over why he is the way he is

No rational man would think that having biwi#1 back under his roof without resolving the issue of biwi#2 is a good idea😆....but we are not dealing with a rational man that much here, are we? 😆 All this man knows is that Imlie ke bina yeh KUCH nahin kar sakta ab😆.....so no matter how problematic, he needs her back in his home to manage anything.

He kept asking Imlie why she returned to Dilli just a day after he left. She has not provided him a verbal answer but he knows, wants to hear it, reaffirmation that she feels as restless as he does without her presence by his side. He may continue to chip away at her resistance by his questioning her again till he hears what he wants to hear.

He is yet to hear about the full drama by Malini during his absence, all he knows is that she left home, his family knows he lied..

See episode #21 - just after the bhaang dance, It was a good one. I am kind of able to connect the dots here. His dressing down of Imlie in front of his family while they defend her. When will Malini get that kind of dressing down as she has aired their dirty laundry in public. This is the episode when Adi realizes that Imlie made the moti roti and his expressions when he discovers this fact.. priceless.. Also when he takes dinner for his Moon that Imlie makes..the convo between Adilie and AM.. when he tells Mun that Imlie will be back to PD.. if she cant eat the rotis.. more for him..

He was affected by Imlie as early as that but the BB was too much in denial, was in angry mode. This was the guy who did not show up to his own engagement on time or during his shaadi, was looking out for Imlie rescuing her from Shashaank or diverting the cops so SK/Mithi could get away, to ensuring Imlie stayed in front of his eyes during his shaadi.

He defo needs to realize more and own up, have the convo with both of his biwis. I think the precap was generic.. for next week. Only the T's are missing and maybe they are stuck in traffic or another function. The C's hold it and Adi takes Imlie along as he does not want to leave her behind + for Dev's sake, he takes her along.

I came across a video - no convo but some drama with the C's n Adilie. He tells off Anu n Malini and then Anu proceeds to fill Malini's ears with her observations.

I get that Anu wants her daughter's happiness but making statements like I am only concerned with y daughter's happiness n how her hubby is treating her, to how she is being ignored..wah wah.. is not going to magically make things work. Since Adi left for PD, to chase after Imlie, Malini has been aloof from the T's, instead preferring her own company, not helping them around the household chores etc.. wallowing in her own grief and airing her laundry list of faults by Aditya.

Knowing how Anu thinks that they are making their daughter work in her sasuraal, Aparna n Radha also don't reach out to her for help/have that rapport ki share kar lete hain kaam. She steps in to make exotic dishes or token help.

The makers have managed a remarkable combination with Adi-Imlie wherein as you rightly pointed out, there is a sense of purity in their bond along with this deep intensity.....you can't help but root for two people who are indeed totally saaf-dil at the end of the day.....they aren't trying to deliberately hurt someone or cheat someone....but they are also not backing down from expressing their honest emotions which are just so innocent most of the time....the simplest of things bring them so much joy....simply being in each other's presence brings them so much joy.....how can you not find such a bond endearing?

@bold - Word. And this is a tricky balance to strike so I have to commend the makers for pulling it off so well. 👏

It's also heartening how they are completely unaffected by third parties like Prakash trying to vilify and denounce their relationship. I know Imlie was visibly affected by by that verbal diarrhea initially but I'm glad that she didn't let it change her stance about her relationship with Adi. Otherwise she wouldn't have come back with him. In the same vein, Adi was also unaffected by Prakash and his Editor finding out and was even defending him and Imlie's relationship to his Editor. This gives me faith that in the future, they'll be just as unmoved by people like Mrs C vilifying their relationship. I hope instances like those will enable them to strengthen their relationship as they struggle against all odds defending the sanctity and validity of their marriage to the world. I guess I shouldn't be surprised, Imlie has always been unaffected by Nakli Nani & Mrs C tarnishing her relationship, she only ever took Adi's words to heart. And Adi also doesn't give a damn what the world thinks, he only cares about what Imlie thinks.😆

Re them being saaf dil: Word again. This just makes them so endearing na? Two people who are otherwise are stuck in the messiest of scenarios trying to get by one day at a time, by holding on to each other. I also like that there is no ego between them. Babusahib who otherwise has a massive ego doesn't hesitate to admit that he can't function without her...and Babusahib knows that Imlie needs him just as much even though she denied this to his face.😆 I just love that bit in the hostel when she bowed her head when he said she didn't need to come back on the next bus and should have stayed back in PD if she wanted to stay apart from him. Imlie leaves him speechless a lot, but even Babusahib can wear her down if need be.😆 And that's what he's going to do in the future when she denies claiming her rights on him. He's going to adamantly wear her down and make her claim her rights on him.
