Speaking of Adi's room....lol I'm wondering if Imlie will hesitate to enter it again now😆....

@bold - Lol. But she jataoed her haq on every nook and corner of the house toh room kaise chhoot sakta hai 😆It will sure be interesting to watch how they handle that room again 😆 I am guessing it will be with the sensitivity these guys have shown so far with potentially awkward situations but dekhte hain

On BTS - yeah, how many times did they have to rehearse say even bringing that chair in between and then Aditya moving it out of the way to then jump over the table 😆

I'm not sure if they will delve into it that deeply but hopefully at some point, someone can point out that not just Adi, even Malini became dependent on him out of habit and not love. What she is experiencing right now is extreme emotional co-dependency....not love.

I know they want to keep the whole drama of bechaari Malini trying to save her marriage going but at some point, they have to get beyond the easy route of dumping the whole thing only on Adi. His mistake is marrying her after marrying Imlie....but that is a seperate issue from the 7 years him and Malini wasted on each other for which both of them are equally responsible.

But for now, I guess I will even take Adi realizing his incompatibility with Malini if nothing else....lol....I think the makers hesitate to explore that cuz they think it will make things "cliched" if Malini's faults are pointed out as if that will somehow make it easier to root for Adi-Imlie.....lol but by this point, it's long past overdue that Adi also start to notice why him and Malini were never as compatible as he thought.....they have serious communication issues....friends bhi the toh utne achhe friends nahin the ki ek dusre ko actually jaan paayein. How does she barely understand his emotions if she was supposedly such a good friend to him? 😆thois guy and his khushfehmiyan😆 kitna ajeeb ajeeb veham hain isse ke dosti pyar hai jahan kuch bhi nahi hai beside salaam dua and obsession. Aise friends ke haan same job karte hain toh sab friends hai basically cordial hone ko friendship ka naam de dia.. thoda sa attraction hua toh pyaar ho gaya.. yeh toh dosti ki bhi insult hai caz as a dost bhi you can't express your feelings. They don't have woh informality woh freedom ..itna soch soch ke Phoonkh Phoonkh ke kadam rakhte hain around each other which friends behave this way ya itna sochne padta hai around real friends.. what he has now developed with imlie is more friendship where they can taang keecho say in flow what is in their mind without filtering it and then joke around not what he has with Malini.. heck mujhe koi ek light moment dikha do inka ke main inki so called bonding ka naam bhi Doon.. it is filled filled tension and tanaav only even that first date from first epi didn't had the easy going vibe had formality written all over it

This is now making me wonder if Adi even understood what friendship is supposed to be....let alone love😆. Is bande ko emotions ka ABC bhi nahin pata lagaa before Imlie it seems😆

Rofl yehi hua hoga.. ab adi will next say shayad hum dosti ko samjhe hi nahi 😆 waise bhi if he had itni si bhi understanding ke dosti kya hoti hai toh iske actual dost hote woh toh hain nahi🤣

Maybe it comes again in the upcoming episodes where he probably notices the changes in Aditya but I do not expect much from it.

Re friendship: like you mentioned I do not think Aditya had a clue about any relationship before Imlie. Malini and him seem to have been acquaintances who did not like confrontations. Malini did not like change and Aditya did not like his work being interfered with. That equation seemed to just work for both of them. The way they have shown him comparing already, I think they will get there with the incompatibility anyway. Doubt toh sirf Malini ka hi hai. Will they ever show her clear headed enough to be accepting of her own flaws that led to the breakdown of her 7 years with Aditya. If they do not, it will be a cop out. But better drama will be if they continue with her blaming Aditya for everything that went wrong with her life - almost like willing to exist in a black hole she created for herself. Of the three she seems to be the only one least malleable. Atleast so far

Malini will have a hard time in accepting her fault in the failure of her relationship with Adi for the longest time. She will blame Adi because as was discussed in the previous thread by you all, she has made changes in herself as per Adi's likes & dislikes over the past 7 years to become what she thinks is an ideal partner for him. Hence if anything is going wrong in their relationship it is because of Adi.

But I think once she comes to know of Imlie being the one for whom Adi has fallen, all her blame will be directed towards Imlie more than Adi. I will be pleasantly surprised if they show her holding Adi as the accountable one instead of Imlie. However based on her track record, I am sure we cannot expect that level of maturity in Malini's thinking.

Just like her mother AC who instead of chucking her husband paints all the village women as some type of seducers who snatch city guys, Malini will also hold Imlie more accountable instead of Adi.

We have already seen this behaviour in her recent return home where she was ready to come back home with Adi even if she suspected him of having an affair as soon as he returned. She is always ready to give forgiveness at a price to Adi. She is fearful of losing the emotional security blanket that is Adi. She is heavily dependent on him for her peace of mind.

So even after she comes to know the truth of Adi-Imlie relationship she will not let Adi leave her so easily.

Regarding Nishant-Adi close bond, I am yet to see this mythical phenomenon😆. I will believe it only after I see it...right now it is looking like a made up thing😆.

How cute was Imlie ka "Thik hai" after she asks him to go sleep!

That entire banter was so well done. Reminded me of their inital PD days before shit happened.

Imlie and Adi definitely have become each other's zaroorat. Each one of them has a strong personality, fiercely independent but they are each other's weakness now. Oh how the mighty have fallen!

In a relationship a person needs to grow. In Malini and Adi's relationship they both stagnated. Yesterday Adi made that point. With Imlie he has grown mentally and spiritually. He now knows that growth is not found in comfort. On the other side Malini for the past 7 years has been living in a fear of losing. That anxiety grappled her so much that she forgot Love is not just making phone calls every 5 mins or baking a chocolate cake!

Side note: I cannot get over the tag! I am nodding in agreement to all your reviews of how beautiful the lighting was, how natural that entire scene was shot, how ravishing GM looked walking down that hallway before he sprinted again (he does need a haircut though!), and how pretty SK looked in that very hallway!

Oh yes and AY to your point: I also want the "emotional sickness" conversation between the two. It surely will be hilarious!

@BOLD: This! I don't get why the creatives just sidelined all that. Is it the pandemic restrictions causing some disruptions, maybe only certain number of people need to be there together...Like for instance he was missing when Imlie came home..we all know he wanted to prepare bhang like a min before that scene!

I really hope they do at some point, in fact if I could I would demand it. The show’s USP so far has been showing handling of relationships in a way unconventional to the typical indian tv soaps.

Cannot stop watching the Adilie scene and tag you are it ka daudam daud. I have watched it a few times and I still burst out laughing over GMs expression when Malini finds him. Chuha nahi mere badmash chuhi thi woh 🤣

It's the same thing you were saying earlier today....ki Imlie ki dictionary mein rishta ban gaya toh it's forever and phir nibhaana hota hai. Malini technically was the first person to tell Imlie directly ki main tumhari behen hoon....Imlie is taking that to be ki Didi ne mujhe actual haq diya apne upar compared to everyone else😆. Tripathis bhi sab parivaar jaise hain but I guess kisi ko directly rishte se nahin bula sakti na ki Maa bol lo ya Papa bol lo.....Malini gave her a direct behen/DIDI wala tagline to use toh Imlie is getting senti over that😆.

Ab Imlie ko koi farak nahin padega if Didi is looking through her now and barely interested in showing behen wala concern....uski nazar mein Didi is forever Didi now, baat khatam😆

Yes, it is only about the "behen" thing that she feels that she cannot hurt Malini... I think there were some senti dialogues also during the chunri giving that she will never take her haq or something like that.

Imlie is not a person who holds grudges, look at her behavior towards AC... itna taunts ke baad bhi she was putting lep on her or took NN for lunch... so she will really not give importance to Malini's behavior towards her.... She will give more importance to Malini's tears and "sad" demeanor and just might end blaming herself for it as for her what is more important is that because of her or her rishta, no body should get hurt.... so the ball is now more in Aditya's court to make her realize and understand that "sach is sometimes kadwa and difficult to tell and digest but keeping it hidden can be more harmful in the long run"...(There were some dialogues on this in the initial episodes on this, need to go back and check)

Before keeping it hidden was Ok as he was committed to Malini and was not thinking about anyone but her but now its a completely different story. 😊

Its looks like right now he is more concentrated on what his feelings were till date for Malini, what was the basis of their rishta from his side, why he thought he was in love....they have kept the guilt still in his court that he was the one mistaken...... he is not even reached the point where he is seeing the incompatibility in their relationship, the actual Malini and how different she is from his vision of an ideal "life partner"... Its going to take a lot more comparison and some more incidences for him to actually start realizing that.... I am not even sure if the makers will go that route or just put the whole blame on Aditya's shoulder.....

I really hope they do though for Malini sake for her to get that closure else she will always think that she was not enough rather than that they were wrong for each other....and for Aditya too for him to completely come out from his guilt mode...

I have watched this scene so many times, her smile, his expression right after he realizes that she was pulling his leg.... then the running around... the best part was as you said the table ke niche-upar sliding with so much grace and without a pause....everything is a competition for them but it gives them so much of joy and us too 😆

I was also laughing at the last part where malini asked him ki are you all right and he was so out of breath but still nodding his head that he is Ok... 😆🤣

Malini is not the kind to ever think she was not enough for Aditya. It will be how in holy hell is a village girl right. If she had the capability to self-reflect or even attempt at getting answers to all the questions she has, she would not be doing what she is doing. The drama is going to come with keeping her drowned in the bechargi that koi aur aake uske pati ko behla kar 7 saal ki relationship thod gayi.

She might step back because the marriage is deemed illegal or she gets a very momentary twinge of conscience ki meri behen ki shaadi uss se pehle hui thi. But she will not be able to fully move on I think. Keeping her relevant to the storyline means keeping her in doubt even after she is no longer married to Aditya
